Sports

I cannot watch football after all of the reports on cte/concussions. Those guys are hitting each other for real

Lol cmon man....I bet you'd love playing it in real life...good camaraderie with the guys and a chance to Pop or get pop hard lol....what about MMA? Mix martial arts? Are you into that? That's a good way to get out of the house on a Saturday night and go watch a classic fight with the dudes riggged or scripted or not.

I’m really not into that either. I know I’m boring. I do follow baseball a little bit. Yes I know, it’s long and boring

One of the things that keeps me coming back to football is the fact that my closest friends, who are now spread out in N. America, are into it. It's the venue around which we gather online on weekends and take time off. Also the game is pretty unique as a combination of raw strength, high skills and highly cerebral schemes.

I especially love the cerebral aspect of football. There is so much strategy involved: exploiting the opponent's weaknesses, capitalizing on your own strengths, adapting to the weather, etc. And then using certain tactics to carry out those strategies to produce a win. Being a head coach of an NFL team must be one of the best jobs around.

Thanks. Seems like simple fundamentals plague today's players, like knowing with 2 outs, the play is to 1st base.

He’s a young player in the postseason, who panicked and threw to the wrong base. His catcher and entire team were yelling and pointing to throw to first base.

But kerkering threw home. The one bright spot, im pretty sure Orion Kerkering is jewish, and fuck the jews

All sports are soccer is gay and uses slave labor to conduct and build their tournaments.

This peace award is right up there with the Nobel peace prize going to terrorists and warmongers.
Fixed for you. All sports are pretty much homosexual vices (spending resources, time, and energy to analyze, cheer and watch the accomplishments (which hold no real societal value) of other men of no familial relation to you who make dozens of times your salary on your time. Watching a game every now and then isnt too bad but to treat it like a religion is exactly what the executives at the top of those organizations want you to do. Waste your time living vicariously through the accomplishments of pseudo celebrity athletes while doing nothing as society crumbles around you.

Agreed. I still follow baseball somewhat but not like when I was younger (had a cheap partial season ticket package in Oakland. Did rotisserie baseball leagues)

The old adage is “baseball isn’t worth dying over but the Red Sox are”.

For probably a decade or 2 I simply didn’t have time to sit down and watch a game or listen on the radio, much less go to a game(work, dating, real life).

But the athletics actually have a good team this year. Need pitching

But I digress, there’s nothing healthy about spending hours or hundreds off hours following sports ball.

Agree 100%, being invested in watching and cheering on other men who are actually participating in a sport sounds a lot like watching something else....And since it's all men that would technically make it gay.

Playing sports however can be a great way to meet people and also stay fit.
