I suppose on some level it's wrong to throw dildos on the court at women's basketball games, but I can't help thinking this is hilarious!

That's one big cock-block.

Are the gaps in the netting sufficient enough to prevent penetration?
There have always been some male cheerleaders. Ronald Reagan was a cheerleader. They are good for picking up girls to do aerial routines. Basically the girls should be the stars, but the guys can play a support role.
That being said, these two guys are gay as hell. This is the real problem. I don't care about having some athletic guys out there helping the girl cheerleaders get big air. I just don't want to see a gay man sashaying around in some kind of homoerotic horror show.
This is real cheerleading. These are actual "male cheerleaders," not gay sashaying, and they're awesome:There have always been some male cheerleaders. Ronald Reagan was a cheerleader. I had forgotten about the 1984 San Diego Padres. They didn’t win a World Series, but they did win a pennant with an insane cast of characters, and half of them hated each other, like half of them hated the other half from a variety of reasons
To give you an example of how crazy their team was, their closer was rich “goose” Gossage, a future Hall of Fame pitcher and the owner said that he was too fat. Gossage goes on some rants about how the owners are poisoning the world with their McDonald’s hamburgers.(the owners , the Kroc family had a hand in expanding McDonald’s, and also bought the Padres to keep the team in San Diego . Gossage would normally be considered an eccentric character but there’s about a dozen other players on this team more eccentric
Greg nettles. 3b (former Brooklyn dodger ) and Steve Garvey 1b (former Yankee) are on the 84 padres and they hate each other from the dudger ysnkee rivalry
Lead off hitter Alan Wiggins is having daily heated debates with ace pitcher Eric Show(ultra conservative). Now remember it’s 1984 and at this point there’s still a lot of actual real racism in the USA. Someone like Wiggins would try to get a hotel room and be told “fuck you n*gger you can’t stay here” etc. Wiggins was very much a fan of Malcolm x and militant black figures.
Apparently they keep it relatively civil compared to some of the other lunatics on this team.
Midway through the season, braves vs padres.
Craziest brawl in the history of Major league baseball that seem to create chemistry for the Padres and they would go onto to win the pen that year
Basically, they were multiple brawls once every few innings because the teams kept throwing it the opposing hitter and getting hit by pitch. Three of the managers and acting managers at the Padres got ejected and some of the players, and there were multiple fines as well.
Edit
Pretty good summary of the the 84 padres season , I’m not doing the team justice in describing the characters
Tony Gwynn was on this team, only 24 but still a good outfielder.
