Yes. Years ago, I used to go out drinking and I noticed girls and women who were drinking heavily would end up getting highly intoxicated before starting trouble - i.e., - picking, mocking, laughing, etc. at someone. They were cruel and mean for no reason other than getting sh*tfaced.

X Who got away with it? The woman in that video got strapped down to a gurney and kicked off the plane. I don’t know what happened to her, but she definitely missed her flight. She was dragged away, kicking and screaming. She belongs in a sanitarium.

It's a bit like that Korean airliner disaster (on Jeju island ?) where, after a birdstrike, they make it down but didn't lower the flaps so the plane pummeled into a wall at the end of the runway. Not related, I know, but it shows the importance of flap position both during take-off and landing.

Folks, regarding Air India 171, it seems now that the flaps up theory has been put to rest. Some pilots are now saying it was dual engine failure. Possibly due to something called vapor lock.

Both fuel selectors were switched to 'cutoff' within seconds of each other on the climbout, causing both engines to die.

One pilot can be heard on the cockpit voice recorder asking the other why he cut off the fuel. "The other pilot responded that he did not do so," the report said.
It did not identify which remarks were made by the flight's captain and which by the first officer, nor which pilot transmitted "Mayday, Mayday, Mayday" just before the crash.

Seems very likely to be a case of suicide, sad stuff.
 

A Delta Air Lines flight bound for Atlanta made an emergency landing Friday at LAX after a reported engine fire, officials said.

The Boeing 767 engine caught fire shortly after takeoff around 2 p.m. Video from the ground captured the flames coming out from one of the engines. The flight landed safely after returning to the LAX runway.

The FAA is investigating the incident, according to Delta Air Lines. The cause of the fire is still unclear.

NEW: Delta pilot makes an "aggressive maneuver" to avoid colliding with a B-52 bomber above Minot, North Dakota.

New audio footage captured by a passenger onboard the plane reveals what exactly happened, according to the pilot.

"Given his speed ... I don't know how fast they were going, but they were a lot faster than us, I felt it was the safest thing to do to turn behind it," the pilot said.

"So sorry about the aggressive maneuver, it caught me by surprise, this is not normal at all. I don't know why they didn't give us a heads up, because the Air Force base does have radar..."
