Weird Things You've Noticed Recently

It is what I was trying to tell you before about English speaking countries being overrun with third worlders and customer service going to shit. Now you understand what I am talking about.
They intentionally hire these incompitentant people at Walmart, but go to Chick Fil a and their staff and service is amazing, no wonder they are doing so well even though they closed on Sundays.

The third worlders haven’t infected very organisation/company just yet but the virus continues to spread and each year more and more companies succumb to the virus. Yes there are still some decent companies left but they become fewer each year.

I just saw a commercial for Sublocade, a once a month injection to fight opiod addiction.

The mandatory legal statement was the worst I ever heard! Injection into a vein could result in Death! Any injection could be made inadvertently into a vein! You can try to start the injection, then pull back and see if any blood comes up into the syringe, but nobody is diligent enough to do that reliably. The rest of the legal warning went on for a long time, and sounded crazier the longer it went.

This is what drug advertisements have come to. Life or death gambles for the desperate and uninformed!

Weird thing I've noticed lately how some forum users only post in certain threads and oftentimes only when someone replies to their posts. There seems to be a lot of emotional investment in a handful of topics, while appearing to completely ignore the rest of the forum.

I think all forums are more or less like this (even in the past).

Why does it seem that the average age of a typical grocery store shopper these days is 70 years old? Unless you go to Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s or Wegmans that is, then the 10% pop. of wealthy Gen Z and Millennials are the normal demographic. I guess all the other younger adults live at home and their boomer parents are doing all the grocery shopping.

We do have an aging population. That's part of the phenomenon we see. Younger people are also just ordering food to themselves through apps. They can't be bothered to inconvenience themselves by leaving their home.

I haven't seen so many seniors at the grocery stores in my part of the country. Seems mostly 30s thru 50s folks here. But now that you mention it there is a conspicuous absence of Gen Z shoppers. Especially men. Gen Z men must not know how to cook or what?

Same where I live. 30s - 50s at the large chain stores while the 20-something girls pop into Whole Foods to grab a couple items. The latter hate being in the store for more than a few minutes at a time, which also makes it hard to chat them up.

Today I saw Mom Slop, and Dad Slop for the first time as types of food. The mom slop was chicken and rice in a cream sauce she fed her toddler, and the dad slop was polish sausage, peppers, onions, and potatoes cooked together as a skillet meal.

Not to mention goy slop, AI slop, etc. What other kinds of slop are there now?

I pronounce this era as the Age of Slop!
