Now the riots are spreading to other cities. Does Trump pull a 2020 and do nothing again? If yes, how can anyone still think elections matter. If no, does he actually go after those funding this, or just the druggies on the ground with no power?

He has no excuse this time. He's still only in his year of presidency with three to go. No re election to worry about. Trump can absolutely redeem his reputation amongst his party and other shaky voterbade if he orders the complete suppression (if not elimination) of these budding riots early on. If the National Guard/military branches follow his orders without hesitation and make an example out of these enemy combatents these "demonstrations" will be completely squashed in less than a week.
