They're staging these protests in blue hives, knowing there won't be any repercussions. Try that somewhere else and things might get spicy - in Florida it's OK to drive through protests.
Immigration is a federal issue and these are foreign citizens marching on US soil. Trump needs to flex.
Assuming they're aliens (and I'm pretty sure a lot of them are our very own libtards) the issue will be manpower - federal LE agencies are rather small when when it comes to the number of boots they can put on the ground, so they would have to rely on local support, which sanctuary cities/states deny. To bypass the issue, DHS will have to deputize local cops, and DOJ will have to charge local politicians with obstruction if/when they try to interfere, and I hope to see it in the not so distant future.

Honestly though, if Pres. Trump is serious (and it sure looks like he is), he will not let these kinds of things happen unanswered. The timing is also crucial, I have mentioned before there are likely phases for solving this immigration crisis.
Example:
Step 1. Secure the border
Step 2. Start cleanup, deport violent offenders/foreign assets (worst of the worst)
Step 3. Deport anyone who snuck in, legal immigrants with criminal record or overstayed visa, etc...
Step 4. Deal with traitors who aided, abetted and helped facilitate these crimes of the past decades
The fact we are even discussing actually deporting these protesters in terms other than just wishful thinking shows just how far the pendulum is swinging.
Steps 1 and 2 are happening right now. I think steps 3 nad 4 will have to wait until the whole federal apparatus (especially the DOJ) is under control.
I don't disagree with your premise but there is a larger aspect to that than just American woman being supposedly unpleasant. Foreign cultures normally marry within their own cultures to preserve their traditions and pass them to their children. It's their second and especially the generations after that which then don't see a differentiation because they have fully assimilated.
Governors can employ their national guard. The .mil can be used for border integrity issues.
ICE and Homeland security requires some locally police interactions as part of a Task Force.

These protests have an early Black Lives Matter 2020 vibe to them, bar the looting. No doubt info on the organizers, tactics, glowie instigators and funding will soon come out. Let's see if the protestors return in greater numbers in the coming days.

Yeah, expect roofing to go thru the roof (heh). Asphalt and concrete to be hit hard as well. I don't have pity on them, as there are legit guys doing it with legal workers out there already - always being undercut by guys like this. These are the types of guys that pay cash to their men (no withholding taxes, no benefits, all workers not on worker's comp, way underrated liability insurance, etc.) Might wash some of the cheaters out of their industry.
