US Border Crisis

Actually, @nytimes he is. DHS CONFIRMED that Luis Alberto Castillo is a member of Tren de Aragua.

TDA is a Venezuelan gang notorious for human trafficking, drug trafficking & kidnap for ransom among other heinous crimes.

The New York Times is more interested in writing sob stories about TDA’s disgusting members than justice for its victims.

(We told the NYTimes this, yet they still published a woe-is-me piece on this creep.)

Okay so we're back to the game that was played during Big T's first administration, subversion and obstruction. The only way to stop this is to do what Musk is doing right now: to cut off the illicit funding of those $400/hr attorneys who are filing those cases.

You're right that the left has now latched onto this as an apparently effective tool. These rulings are obviously unconstitutional. It would take years to overturn them in the Supreme Court, and these activist judges can spam out dozens or even hundreds of restraining orders.

It's time for Trump to say he won't comply with unconstitutional rulings. Time to realign the checks and balances between the three governmental branches, and stop mid-level judges from being able to control national policy like this.

I think they are letting these build up. The Supreme Court has to commit to taking some of these judicial oversight issues.

If the Supreme Court could make some kind of blanket ruling that shuts this kind of thing down completely, and could do it in a few weeks, that would be best. Even a few months would be too long. Trump needs to rip through the existing system ASAP before the left can react. He is inside their OODA loop right now, and he can't let them catch their breath.

Worse still would be if the Supreme Court wants to address each of these cases one at a time. The activist judges can just spam out injunctions, and bring all the reforms to a halt. I think the Executive Branch needs to formally state that these lower level courts are out of order in trying to control fundamental national policy, and reject these rulings.

Edit: Keep in mind that some of the Justices are compromised by the same kind of corruption as the uniparty members of the House and Senate. They are trying to cover their own butts, and the kind of investigations and revelations that are coming will catch some of them too.

The SCOTUS is not a trustworthy party in cleaning up the Federal Government.

I wish Trump would do just that but I'm pretty confident that he won't. Saw an interview with him today where he clearly stated that he always complies with a judge's orders. I don't necessarily want to criticize him for that as he's survived the combined weight of the deep state and I'm not going to claim I know better. I still feel hitting them where it hurts at lightning speed is the best approach right now. The Russians have shown us that winning every battle isn't the name of the game, winning the war is. The Commie-Left is not doing itself any political favors by filing these injunctions and they may have to pay an extremely steep price for that in two years from now during the Midterms.

Trump and Musk are the best and most courageous people one could wish for when it comes to draining the swamp. If there is a way to get it done and save the country from the brink then I'm confident they will pull it off.

I think that’s one way to skin a cat but I also think there are other ways.

The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.
Apparently that saying is false. It was originally blood is thicker than water.

The expanded saying was added afterwards for political reasons.

No new deportation numbers in the last week.

Hopefully they're just keeping things under wraps because of the leaks, rather than easing up after deporting all the easy-to-find criminals.

As of today, ICE hasn’t released any new figures in 9 days. But on average, the administration has been arresting 754 aliens a day since Trump was inaugurated on 01/20/25. If ICE continues to arrest people at this rate, the administration is on track to arrest nearly 23,000 in its first 30 days, more than any other month in the last 11 years.

Hooman has constantly said the limiting factor is money when it comes to deportations.

Well, the latest Government funding bill being proposed gives $300 billion to USCIS. If that doesn't fix it, then Hooman might not be the man for the job. However, a quarter of a trillion is serious cash for this kind of operation, so my expectations are high. This will be the largest mass deportation effort in US history judging from the funding.
