United Healthcare CEO Assassinated

United Healthcare isn’t a government entity, it’s a private company. Isn’t terrorism supposed to be for political reasons? This is corporate, not political.
The government closely regulates and protects both the medical and insurance industries, so this murder can easily involve a political motivation, which would make it terrorism.

Using violence as a means to invoke a societal response, whether political, corporate, or social is terrorism.
So now CEOs of insurance companies are a protected class. They’re more important and deserve more protections than children in schools.

Well think of this way, if someone was going around shooting homeless people they would do the same thing for them or for any "group" which was possibly being targeted. The main goal is to keep the peace, or however else you want to nefariously phrase it, they can't have people just going around shooting other people thinking it's okay....

I realize it's hard to find sympathy for these people but you have to look at the situation objectively, trying to stop murders is what they are supposed to do regardless of the circumstances.

Now you get it :)

Become useful to your (((masters))) and enjoy protections.

Joe Biden of the Democrats, a party which is supposedly against the death penalty, didn’t get rid of the federal death penalty. Now, we have two killers who committed crimes in New York, a state where there is no death penalty, who could face death via federal court because of hate crime or terrorism charges,

If you think that Democrat politicians are against the death penalty, you’re a moron.

Charge them with murder then. You don’t think there are people deterred by the threat of jail?

You don't think the fact that everyone is rooting on more murder perhaps compelled them to take further action? I'm not sitting here telling you this is wrong or this is right I'm explaining it objectively.

Luigi shouldn’t be charged for what other people thought of his crime. Furthermore, why not just charge him with murder, that will tell society murder won’t be tolerated.

Agree with you 100% but they're going to do whatever they can to make an example of him to avoid this repeating itself.

Which is my point. Democrat politicians aren’t against the death penalty, both parties want the federal death penalty in place so those who commit revolutionary crimes (whether in response to great replacement or healthcare) can still be punished. The death penalty “debate” is just a way of dividing and distracting the left vs right (abortion is also a good example.)

They're against the death penalty when it involves the little people. When it involves them, Dems are 100% pro-execution no questions asked. Look at what they did to the J6'ers, trespassing charges elevated to years in jail.

Murder is bad enough. The government should punish murderers, deter serious death threats, and break up conspiracies to kill civilians. Creating a special category for political violence isn't necessary to accomplish these things. What counterterrorism laws do accomplish is allowing politicians to grandstand on public fears—and increase their own power in the process.
