The Work-Life Balance Thread

It could at Walmart for sure or even any place where everyone is trained to do the same monkey work jobs. But a real job when you try to have multiple people do a one person job it generally doesn't go very well, anything specialization you can't really have multiple people rotating like that. Believe me I'm not against the idea I'm just thinking for my businesses or some of my relatives very large business where if we had the office employees or even labor employees that have more responsibility only work 3 days a week it would be a mess. It's not really a matter of hours it's about tasks that need to be addressed daily, it would be more feasible to do more days at less hours than to do less days at more hours.

If the world wanted to collectively switch to a 3 day work week just work more hours I would be the first to sign up...
What you are saying is entirely true but there are plenty of Walmart type jobs and yet almost none of them are offering 3 day work weeks. I feel the jobs where its possible should be offering it. But like I said it won't happen short of ending immigration, a major war or plague etc which re-balances the labour market so companies actually start caring about what employees want.

Interesting concept....in that vein yea it would be smart for a large company to do that with their common labor, it would offer incentive to employment and would be easier to attract people which value their jobs.

Hmmm, that's a nice little hook.

4 10’s is good vs 5 8’s in some situations. My ideal dream job is 5 days a week, 3 hrs a day and make >$200k, teleworking most days and only going into the office for the purpose of socializing and running errands before /after work. That’s my idea of work/life balance.
If the resources and technology advancements of the west were invested back into our own people, instead of fighting endless wars for Israel, protecting shipping lanes for the satanic elites to offshore jobs, and instead of babysitting the third world, which causes their population to boom way beyond what they can feed, this would be a much more real possibility.
