The Wider Middle East Thread

A reminder that the Orthodox saints have prophesied that when Israel strikes Irans nuclear facilities and when Turkey strikes Greece then that will be the sign of the start of world war 3
I've never heard this prophecy. Israel striking Iran seems probable, but why would Turkey attack Greece?
Its apparently old prophesies from various different saint from different parts of the world, I dont remember the whys being mentioned but these were the signs to look out for before the great world war starts, they said Turkey will close the straights and this will anger Russia and Greece will recapture Turkey and sounds like Russia will assist Greece and by the sounds of it Turkey will be wiped out and will no longer exist.

USA also mentioned in these prophesies but dont want to side track this thread, will DM you the link.

The much bigger story in Cyprus, which of course resident zio-apologist LaNegra completely sidesteps, is the colonisation of that island by zionists.
It's difficult to take Zionists at the gate seriously and as a much greater threat when Turks have been occupying your country for half a century and have a history of pillage and massacre (and getting away with it scot-free: when was the last time "Türkiye" was boycotted or meaningfully opposed for its actions?).

Turkey has been rewarded for letting Israel do whatever they want in their back yard.

And that is the problem, the Greek Cypriots are stuck between the Turkish wolf they've faced for centuries, and the scheming Israeli fox that purports to be their friend and ally against the wolf, with the British/NATO lion already in control of the island covertly working with the fox. Greek Cypriots already have limited military and financial control of their own country. I would guess their media as well is controlled by zionists. Israel already has a beachhead in Cyprus, with a lot of land purchased, and a growing military presence.

The situation in Cyprus today is similar to the one in Palestine from the 1920s, except the zionists have far greater control over the Brits and the EU than they had 100 years ago, as they started slowly taking slices off the Palestinian salami. There are only 650,000 Greek Cypriots and about 250,000 foreigners. And 9 million Israeli Jews across the sea. Israel can take over Greek Cyprus with just 5% of their population moving in under the conditions above.

Trump signed an executive order guaranteeing the security of Qatar.
(a) The United States shall regard any armed attack on the territory, sovereignty, or critical infrastructure of the State of Qatar as a threat to the peace and security of the United States.
(b) In the event of such an attack, the United States shall take all lawful and appropriate measures — including diplomatic, economic, and, if necessary, military — to defend the interests of the United States and of the State of Qatar and to restore peace and stability.

Nearly a week of rioting in Morocco, which is an authoritarian monarchy that rarely sees demonstrations. Alleged catalyst is a string of pregnant women dying due to poor healthcare, below the surface there is anger about corruption, nepotism and heavy-handed internal security policies. Now the FIFA 2030 WC gets mentioned as well as the tens of billions of USD allocated for building and renovating the stadiums could have been spend elsewhere.

Morocco is allied with the US and an early participant of the Abraham Accords. In the last few years Morocco has become more relevant as a contraweight to Algeria which due to its communist past is more aligned with Russia. That Morocco-Algeria conflict is mostly centered around a massive territorial dispute and the Moroccan annexation of +Algerian support for Polisario in the Western Sahara.

The last protests in 2018 were in Berber speaking areas in the Rif, and saw many organizers being pulled in vans and disappear for years

This EO is akin to NATO's Article 5 and puts to rest all the hearsay and goofy accusations regarding Israel's recent over the top strike on the remaining Hamas leadership in Doha. Barking chihuahuas can get back into the kennel. As both Bibi and Trump have confirmed, Israel acted on its own and the US was informed only ~10 minutes in advance. Qatar in turn was notified only 1 minute in advance after Washington relayed that info.

The scorecard is clear. Israel has a free hand to strike the US' regional enemies at will, although fudging with global oil prices and putting US servicemen in danger is a bridge too far. However, striking key regional allies that played and will play a massive role in US power projection in the Persian Gulf and beyond is a bridge too far. This EO makes sure these types of shenanigans don't happen again

Trump also made Bibi call the Qatari Emir to read out a letter of apology.

In the wake of the Doha attack the Qatari convened the Arab-Islamic Summit, with states of over 30 countries present. Obviously not much came from it as Arabs are all bite and no bark but either way the filthy rich Khaleeji Gulf Arabs were shook. They considered themselves a superior breed and thought they could watch the chimpouts from a distance yet suddenly realized they were in the mudpit with the rest of the desert dwellers. The illusion is gone US cannot afford to lose its Arab allies because of BS strikes on relatively irrelevant Hamas figures

Well Turkey was once Greek territory and the Island of Cyprus is also half Turks so they do have a little hostility towards each other, the prophesy also said the turks will close the straights and piss off the Russians and Russia will side with Orthodox Greece and wipe Turkey off the map, 1/3 of the Turks will die, 1/3 flee the other 1/3 convert to Christianity and Constantinople will once again go back to the Greeks. David Patrick Harry has the entire prophesy on his channel

What his CoD handle? I want to mess get in a game with him and mess with him about using chemical weapons.

He didn't use them, those were two NATO false flags, The moderate headchoppers used them.

The article about Bashar Assad playing videogames all day also sounds like propaganda, ((Hanania)) is hardcore pro-Ukraine and anti-Assad.

For the first time in a long time there's no US carrier strike group in the middle east, as USS Nimitz is heading home (already in the South China Sea) and USS Ford was rerouted to the Caribbean.

With some delay the political decision to disarm Hezbollah seems to have been made. There's been quite a lot of wiggling and talks behind the curtains yet the latest Saudi-US initiative seems to have set things in motion, ergo Hezbollah must be disarmed and turned into a political outfit, with political power centered solely with the Lebanese State.

The Hezbollah- Amal bloc led by Berri is so far not interested in the initative ergo a showdown is looming. Hezbollah allegedly is willing to talk about scaling down military arsenals to negotiate an end to Israeli attacks, yet full on disarming is no no. Hence Joseph Aoun really has only two options, either he enforces the November 2024 ceasefire stipulations (aka Resolution 1701), as supported by the Saudis and Americans, or he cucks after which the Israelis will almost certainly step in to finish the job citing ceasefire violations and a slacking UNIFIL/ Lebanese Army. The second option could potentially lead to the de facto break up of Lebanon and Israeli occupation of parts of Lebanon.

Below are the points outlined by General Joseph Aoun on Lebanon's Army Day, which are an extension of the Saudi-US initiative presented the other day.

- Immediate cessation of Israeli hostilities by air, land, and sea, including assassinations

- Israeli withdrawal behind internationally recognized borders and release of prisoners

- Disarmament of all armed forces, including Hezbollah, with weapons handed over to the army

- Securing one billion US dollars annually for 10 years from friendly countries to support the army and security forces and enhance their capabilities

- Holding an international donor conference to rebuild Lebanon in the fall

- Resolving the issue of Syrian refugees, combating smuggling and drugs, and supporting alternative agriculture and industries

He added: "These are the most important terms of the memorandum, for which we have defined parallel phases of implementation. No honest and responsible Lebanese can fail to adopt them to block Israel’s aggression."

Meanwhile Israel is striking Hezbollah operatives and infrastructure almost daily, the Israelis have gained total escalatory dominance over Hezbollah with the latter hitting back not even once.

The Lebanese decision to disarm Hezbollah under Aoun was made, yet progress in its execution is slow. Israeli strikes and assassination attempt aimed at Hezbollah operatives and networks are increasing in frequency yet to fully restart operations in Lebanon they will wait for a green light sign from Washington.

I am giving the Lebanese state and Hezbollah till January max. Hezbollah is in the ropes and the Israelis want to finish the job, Washington is sounding increasingly impatient with the Lebanese delays and excuses.

Saudis and the USA are the final stages of negotiationing a Qatar style Article 5 type of defense agreement. A heavy Saudi delegation will visit Washington this week, MBS included. The Saudis made a 142 billion USD order for military gear back in May, and have recently per Reuters requested permission to acquire 48 F35s a 148 billion USD on top of that.
