The Trump-Vance Administration (The People Who Work For Trump)

That’s what I was thinking. Remember the shoe bomber? And they also had an underwear bomber. We had to know we needed the TSA.
Both of those were flying internationally into the USA, so they were obviously not screened by TSA prior to boarding. That's all it takes to outwhit the amazing security experts at TSA, so it has little security imperative for terrorism.

CONGRESS FUNNELED $516 BILLION INTO EXPIRED PROGRAMS WITH ZERO OVERSIGHT IN 2024

The CBO just revealed that Congress spent $516 billion in 2024 on programs with expired authorizations, some dating back over 40 years.

Despite rules against funding unauthorized programs, lawmakers ignored them—letting billions flow without updated approvals or oversight.

Even worse, 251 more authorizations are set to expire this year, including $892 billion in defense spending, yet Congress keeps writing blank checks.

This isn’t governance—it’s corruption. Congress is recklessly burning taxpayer money on programs they haven’t even bothered to approve.

New York Judge Paul Engelmayer just forbade all political appointees — including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent — from accessing Dept. of Treasury data, all based on Blueanon conspiracy theories!!

Those theories couldn't be challenged because the order was EX PARTE — meaning Trump's lawyers weren't warned, and couldn't weigh in. Only Democrat Attorneys General were allowed to argue.

The judge cites no law or logic to support this unprecedented order, because it defies both. The judge’s ruling is, in essence, that Scott Bessent simply occupies a ceremonial position without real power, like the King of England.

This is a grenade thrown into the functioning of the Treasury Department.

It forbids the elected government from accessing information about budget and finances. Instead, only the permanent, deep-state government can know what's being spent.

It means Scott Bessent's subordinates have far more power than Scott Bessent does.

Democrat pundits who whine about the Constitution are liars, and will shred it the first chance they get.

For now, the order is only for the next week, but if a court tries to make it permanent the Trump Administration should absolutely consider defying it.

Better yet, SCOTUS should bar this judge from ever hearing similar cases again, and every Democrat lawyer involved should be sanctioned.
Edit.

To be clear, what the @DOGE team and @USTreasury have jointly agreed makes sense is the following:

- Require that all outgoing government payments have a payment categorization code, which is necessary in order to pass financial audits. This is frequently left blank, making audits almost impossible.

- All payments must also include a rationale for the payment in the comment field, which is currently left blank. Importantly, we are not yet applying ANY judgment to this rationale, but simply requiring that SOME attempt be made to explain the payment more than NOTHING!

- The DO-NOT-PAY list of entities known to be fraudulent or people who are dead or are probable fronts for terrorist organizations or do not match Congressional appropriations must actually be implemented and not ignored. Also, it can currently take up to a year to get on this list, which is far too long. This list should be updated at least weekly, if not daily.

The above super obvious and necessary changes are being implemented by existing, long-time career government employees, not anyone from @DOGE
. It is ridiculous that these changes didn’t exist already!

Yesterday, I was told that there are currently over $100B/year of entitlements payments to individuals with no SSN or even a temporary ID number. If accurate, this is extremely suspicious.

When I asked if anyone at Treasury had a rough guess for what percentage of that number is unequivocal and obvious fraud, the consensus in the room was about half, so $50B/year or $1B/week!!

This is utterly insane and must be addressed immediately.

Half a trillion? I'm starting to feel sorry for these commies.

Watching you Yanks deal with them after hearing that is gonna be a real show, and it already was quite the event of the century just these past two weeks.

It's no wonder they are panicking, that's like finding out your wife sold your house and cheated on you at the same time...

God bless you all.

^ and that's how you solve the recidivism rate. If this story is true at face value, here you have a black man given a chance to redeem himself and turn his life around by putting in an honest week's work to earn money instead of potentially falling back into the presumed drug and crime routine that put him in prison in the first place.

Pursuant to the Consumer Financial Protection Act, I have notified the Federal Reserve that CFPB will not be taking its next draw of unappropriated funding because it is not "reasonably necessary" to carry out its duties. The Bureau's current balance of $711.6 million is in fact excessive in the current fiscal environment. This spigot, long contributing to CFPB's unaccountability, is now being turned off.

Edit.

RIC GRENELL: U.S. TAXPAYERS FUND FAR-LEFT STATE MEDIA—IT’S TIME TO SHUT IT DOWN

“Radio Free Europe and Voice of America are media outlets paid for by the American taxpayers.

It is state-owned media.

These outlets are filled with far left activists.

I’ve worked with these reporters for decades.

It’s a relic of the past. We don’t need government paid media outlets.”

I'm going to ask a question here and I don't mean this in an Eddie Haskell kind of way...

If Trump really is the rogue prez that some people believe he is, why has he waited until his 2nd time in office to enact all of these changes and figuratively drain the swamp?

I think the persecution he faced between his terms changed him. Trump 1.0 was willing to play by the rules, but when they removed him from office and waged total war against him and his family, it changed him. Made him realize that if he fails to drain the swamp the second time he has the chance, neither he nor his family will ever be safe.

He learned that playing nice and trying to bring everyone together by doing things that benefitted all of us was never going to work with the crazies so he's doing things differently this time. No point in trying to appease people that can't be appeased. Plus what @TruckDriver9 said, nothing wrong with a little vengeance to drive you.

Because changing institutions takes time. Trump 1.0 had to go against an incredible amount of inertia, especially within the Republican party.

8 years later and the voters have removed a ton of RINOs, a lot of fake news outlets have been destroyed, a lot of liberals killed themselves with the COVID vax.

The biggest flaw of conservatives is their lack of vision and patience, all change takes an enormous amount of time. Rome wasn't built in a day, wars must be waged over decades to really be effective.

Elon Musk was against Trump 1.0 as well. Trump didn't understand the gravity of the situation either. Things take time to change, for everyone, Trump, Elon, and ourselves included.

Think of how much we all changed in the past 8 years. 8 years ago this was still a PUA forum.
