He said that [some] Jews killed Jesus, an undisputable and undeniable fact which the Vatican would surely agree with, and he particularly singled out the Pharisees, who incited the angry mob against Him.

You say something like "the Romans killed Julius Caesar" or "the French killed Louis XVI" and no one bats an eye. Of course no one is saying ALL the Romans or ALL the French. But not a single Jew can be guilty, they must all be perfectly innocent and white as snow.

That’s why they get killed over and over again. You wanna rule the world? There’s some occupational hazards that come with the crown. Ask many kings throughout history about that. High finance seems like a move to rule the world without having to put a crown on your head.
