I’ve heard Israelis claim the title indigenous several times because of the OT. The modern Israelis are from E Europe. The modern descendants of the people in the Bible are largely Muslim or Orthodox or Catholic Christian now.

To me what makes you indigenous is if you don’t have a back up plan. To me a real American can’t just leave. An immigrant can always go home if things get too hot. If it wasn’t for American paychecks and American welfare, many would. Better food, slower pace of life. Digital nomad exists for a reason. An indigenous American doesn’t have those options. This covers both amerindians and a huge chunk of white people. It’s possible for a stock to live in a land so long, they become indigenous even if there’s an older group.

The late prof. Tony Martin is your man, he taught at Wellesley and focused his research on the Atlantic slave trade, himself being from Trinidad. His findings that the trade was as Jewish as the diamond trade practically ended his career, he was the target of an organized smear campaign that got him pushed out from Wellesley.




Before the Transatlantic slave trade, Jews were also the main players in the European slave trade, with heavily Jewish cities like Prague or Salonica being the hubs of slaves from eastern Europe (Slavs) being sold to the Ottomans.
