You might be onto something regarding the RSL story. When he was a child, anti Japanese sentiment was strong broadly speaking amongst Australians - especially veterans. However it could just be a tall tale to elicit sympathy.
Ironically as to quades point, I literally drove past the wallabies squad walking to training today, and they were self segregated....
Prior to the world cup, the squad went to the northern territory to attend an aboriginal religious ceremony where they had some kind of witchcraft performed on them (every single player is at least baptised - the islanders to their credit are openly Christian). They then left for France wearing akubra hats (think crocodile Dundee Americans), and visited the famous Villers bretonneux war cemetery.... I'm hard pressed to think of anything more ridiculous than these activities. In no way, shape or form could such a disparate group of men possibly take anything of value from it.
We might seem to be veering off the JQ here, but it's important for Americans to understand the culture and ethos of rugby. Its an explicitly middle/upper class sport, played almost exclusively in Christian private schools. It remained an amateur sport until the late 1990's - despite being played at school, provincial and international level in the 19th century (the first Test match was 1871).
It's the winter sport of what we would once call gentleman - with all the pageantry that entails (even as schoolboys, players literally wear blazers to after match functions with the opposition, and are presented with 'caps' when debuting).
As such, it was and is a big target for the tribe. The demographic that plays rugby, that attend rugby schools, and support it, would be governing our nations naturally if not for Jewish influence. Aware of this, they naturally bought out our elites long ago, but they also fear those same people and hence, the relentless media attacks on the sport, the shaming of it's Christian base, and the deliberate flooding of the professional level globally with non white players
