The Iran and Wider Middle East Thread

Looks like Israel is cracking down hard and preventing any video or pictures to get out. Iran promises to increase the attacks tonight. Isreal simply cannot beat Iran on its own, they are in full desperation. They will demand the USA comes to fight for them, and some how that will happen, whether by false-flag or just do it without our consent. The question is, once the USA gets involved will anyone support Iran? If not, can Iran inflect enough damage to cause the American people to demand a full retreat?

We don't exactly know what is going on, but if anyone thinks Israel is having a good time, they are very wrong.

This is the first good post you've made in this thread. Congrats! That's a 1/20 ratio.

Without a doubt, banning one's own citizens from leaving the country is always a sign of desperation. This is huge, Iran is hitting them hard and the normal citizens, who are all shekel grubbing Talmuds, are panicking in droves.

It confirms my suspicions that Israel doesn't have as much resolve as Iran does. Iran will fight harder the more casualties they take, while the opposite is true for Talmudic Jews.

The morale factor shouldn't be understated and is a big factor towards success or defeat.

Edit.

Read until the last paragraph on what Antonio Costa (President of the European Council) said:
European Commission boss Ursula von der Leyen and President of the European Council António Costa on Sunday both urged Trump to stop hurting the global economy with tariffs.

“Let’s keep trade between us fair, predictable and open. All of us need to avoid protectionist measures — this is an important message that the G7 can send to the markets and to the world,” von der Leyen told reporters, speaking alongside Costa at the first press conference of the G7 leaders’ meeting in Canada.

Calling for “a frank discussion among the G7 partners, restoring a sense of stability and predictability among ourselves,” von der Leyen stressed Brussels was still negotiating a trade truce with Washington.

Costa said the EU can’t increase defense spending, as Trump wants it to, if it has to fight a trade war at the same time.

Iran should have signed the “deal” I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!

Listening to the live feed on twitter and a good point was brought up. China's air defense system was designed to stop the F-22 and F-35. Is it possible Iran has this system in place, so China could see it being used in the real world. There are claims four F-35's have been shot down. Israel is hiding everything right now, so we just don't know what is going on.

Another guy claimed to have known a few guys on the ships that were in the Red Sea, and they said the Houthi's were ferocious and unrelentless and they had to stay far away, or they would have been sunk. They said Iran likely has better equipment to battle ships, which would keep our battleships at a safe distance for them.

If Iran had really shot down a single F-35 there would be pictures of the wreckage all over social media. There are none. Both sides are pushing propaganda. The truth is somewhere in the middle. When Iran brought down that RQ-170 a few years back they put it on display. Until there’s a pile of wreckage at the next Iranian military parade they haven’t bagged anything.

The situation seems to have passed the point of no return already. Neither Israel nor Iran can afford to back down, as the leadership of both countries view this war as existential, a judgment that is most likely correct. Israel wants to drag the U.S. into the war by any means necessary, and unfortunately I think they will be successful in doing so. Trump will probably try to thread the needle by simply greenlighting the use of American heavy bombers and precision munitions to target Iran's nuclear facilities, and will claim this to be the full extent of our involvement.

But of course, events could easily escalate from there, and Israel would be working overtime at that point to pull the U.S. deeper into the conflict and goad us into putting boots on the ground in service of their ambitions. And again, given their heinous but shockingly effective track record at manipulating U.S. foreign policy toward their ends, it would be foolish to dismiss the possibility, or to even regard it as unlikely, for that matter.

Hopefully Trump resists the considerable pressure he is under to intervene. Starting a war with Iran would not only hamstring (if not outright destroy) his Presidency by severing his loyal base clean in two, it would be disastrous for the country as a whole (and the world, really).

There will be it a last hail mary with iranians it seems. At least that´s Macron is implying.

French President Macron: The Americans offered to meet with the Iranians, now we will see what happens.

Chinese Embassy in Israel: We urge our citizens to leave Israel via land toward Jordan as soon as possible.

Netanyahu is haunted by the 80 year curse of Jewish kingdoms. David’s dynasty split into two kingdoms at 80 years and the Hasmonean Dynasty lasted 75. It’s been 77 years since the founding of Israel. They used the 10/7 attack to reach for the brass ring of history. Attacking all their enemies on every front. Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, and now Iran. Israel will not back down until their goals are met. Or Israel is ground into dust.

Due to that desperation I expect a false flag on the U.S. to cement support behind our involvement.
