The Russians must be very pleased at the US/NATO diverting critical weapon systems to Israel, just as they are scaling up their operation across Ukraine.

I hear just today the Russians managed to move 10 nautical feet westward, putting the fortified oak tree housing Ukraine's 61th mechanized brigade within artillery range.

Every WH official I spoke to said no boots on the ground but they don’t want Iran to have a nuke. Anything more specific, and people are tight lipped about. The stuff you’re seeing elsewhere are people leaking what they WANT to happen, a common technique.

When I saw read the bold the first thing I thought of was the anonymous Israeli officials claiming that the Trump WH was coordinating was Israel on the missile strikes, that Trump is promising support, etc.

Behind the scenes: An Israeli official claimed to Axios that the U.S. might join the operation, and that President Trump even suggested he'd do so if necessary in a recent conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

It all depends on two things:

1. How long can Iran keep hitting Israel with ballistic missiles? They are rumoured to have thousands of them, but we don’t really know.
2. Will the USA step in?

If Iran can keep hitting Israel with drones and ballistic missiles on a daily basis for more than a week or two and the USA does not step in, Israel will have to negotiate or use nukes.
