Indeed.

Several years ago I was working in the IT department in one of those giant tech firms that we (the US) are essenitally handing over to India for free. Seeing it first hand is probably one of the reasons I got "red pilled." Most of my coworkers were from India and yes, although I'm not an alpha male type at all there was this strange and, honestly, kind of enjoyable feeling of always being the "Chad" in the room compared to them.

Unfortunately, they just need to find one federal judge who agrees with them and they can strike down the order or parts of it. They will sue and it will work its way through the court system.

I think you US guys don't really understand what's going on in other Anglo nations, it's insane the amount of Indians that are gushing in.

Yep, and I've heard many of these ragheads in Canada state openly that since India is the world's most populous country, that they are entitled to flood the rest of the world, wherever they please.

These companies will eventually get messed up by this. Tech is an industry where quality of employees matter a lot more than quantity of employees. One excellent coder can produce more output at better quality than 10 mediocre coders. Eventually these companies will be hurt by the consequences of their own greed and stupidity.

The survivor here has immigrated to the US on an O-1B visa, the way DeSantis described in the opening of this thread.

Alex Gukov is a man of extraordinary talent, achieving the highest worldwide honor in Alpinism/Mountain climbing. So he was allowed a visa, and his family was allowed to come with him from Russia. Sounds to me like that program works to still attract the actual best and brightest, and we dont need the H-1B program.

By contrast, my last company, a several thousand person telecom company, decided to do layoffs by "rebadging" hundreds of people to be TCS employees. It basically meant, "You were hired by a US telco company, but now you can either take severance or you can accept a new offer as a contractor paid by Tata Consulting Services, an Indian outsourcing firm."
