Agreed. Some pick up coaches and manosphere influencers have suggested stuff like getting tattoos to seem more interesting or edgy. It's an extremely flawed approach to me.

There are few cultures where adding to your appearance helps people genuinely connect. Argentinians would be an example of a society that seems almost completely tatted up. However, tattoos have apparently become a staple of their culture and help them form bonds.

But I can't think of any other Christian culture where that is the case.

So this did not end up working out. Really nice girl, but seems a bit damaged from previous relationships. Two bad ones, and then she ended up breaking up with a good guy from church a while ago. That should have been a pretty big red flag, especially leaving a good guy like that. She also hooked up with a guy at a concert over the summer, while being a "Christian". A woman taking Christianity seriously would not put themselves in that situation. She also became a lot less loving the nicer I acted towards her. This is a common problem of a damaged woman.

I know some guys on here get made fun of for wanting a virgin, but there is a reason for that. Lot less risky if you can pull it off.

It had been a while since I've dated, so this ended up being a great learning experience. I certainly have my own problems to work on too.

Be careful out there.

Yes, it becomes harder and harder not to just brand most women you meet as damaged or promiscuous but those are the times. Lots of skepticism and vetting is needed.

The things that used to make women like you more even inverted, and we've talked about some of them. One somewhat odd one that many have reported here is abstaining from sex from them for a longer time period - if not "waiting til marriage" - oddly works against you, since the current culture has no value for that, they don't (mostly) either. Your example is a mini version of that, which is the lack of dark triad traits doesn't give any tingles. Again, they reward bad behavior. By the time they'll just be normal and somewhat humble or nice, they're already out of eggs. Cue the demons laughing, again.

As a man, waiting until marriage seems acceptable to some very pious virgin women. However, of the virgins I've met none of them have ever said that would be a trait they value among men.

It's fascinating how eager these women are to be less appealing to men purely out of spite. These women detest both masculinity and feminity.

As a professor, I get IOI's all the time from my female students. Would anyone recommend I remove my wedding ring? I find that wearing my ring repels a lot of these situations, or I could be reading the room wrong.

Actually this is not intended for white women, contrary to the picture they chose. This is a problem where I live involving international students coming mainly from India. Many of them come with one semester worth of tuition funds only to try and land a job during those few months. Those that don't find a job end up needing a place to live, so rather than go back to India which is what should happen, they end up becoming someone's whore for "free" rent.

That's a different context because of your perceived authority and the stupidity of little girls, I don't know about that one brother.

My experience comes from hanging out with my cousins who are all pretty much married and a couple of my married friends. One of my cousins does it all the time just for fun, he'll strike up a conversation casually and girls are cold towards him then he puts on his wedding ring and all of a sudden they want to be all over him. The optimistic side of me would like to say it's due to them not perceiving him as a threat with the ring or seeing him as being worthy of a conversation because another woman prequalified him but no it has happened multiple times where they are just throwing themselves at him after he puts on that ring...

Women are really base creatures. It's amazing to me that some are intelligent or have high IQ, but still are in the class of low IQ (races) when it comes down to it - they just can't deny, shape or consider emotions/instincts well at all in order to contemplate and change or not act on them.

Yea I'm not that guy on here fixated on knocking down women just because it doesn't mean anything to me to do that it doesn't serve me in any way to do so, I accept the situation for what it is instead. But you're absolutely right in your assessment of them on that, it can't be denied. Even the most intelligent among them it's all emotion, logic has no bearing and emotion is somehow a valid excuse for them I think that's the most frustrating part. Once you accept that it makes it a lot easier to deal with but it's still hard as someone who is logical to do that often times...

It just makes it easier in that you don't consider it at all, truly, since you realize the (silly) source.

I think the most bothersome thing of it all is how many women try to tell you, directly or indirectly, what you should do, should be doing, etc. As if they've really thought fully about why you've come to certain conclusions or decisions. And I'm talking about generally well functioning people or men, since of course some idiot bum isn't going to change, or certainly listen to some LARPing woman.
