Just a random thought, I remember when I visited the main museum in Wellington, New Zealand, there was a display about the 19th century when settlers were arriving from the UK. There was an advert, asking for men who are engineers, builders, farmers, etc to qualify for passage. For the women, just be under 40 with no further qualifications. Even then, the expectations placed on women were comically low. Maybe that's where we went wrong.

The expectations are. Like I can’t do the PUA thing because I actually believe the orthodox thing. So I’m liking for a girlfriend to become a wife. My only requirements:
- not obese. You can be a bit chubby, I’m not a hypocrite
- no kids, not doing baby daddy drama
- be supportive friendly and pleasant, and I’ll return the favor.

That’s a very low bar. Compare that to mens requirements.

No, they were just realistic and knew that women were of no use in the science fields, even the few women with the aptitude to perform at that level. Most women, when allowed to go into such fields, will cause chaos and disorganization and eventually death. The few women who can make it are not worth kicking the applecart over when bringing the rest of the women with them. They realized women's only real purpose was to have and raise children, which is the most important purpose of human life. The fact we believe women are capable of both having and raising children, which is the most difficult and important job of both sexes, but they can just as well work as men in the outside world, is absolute insanity. It is a train of thought we must destroy.

Women have their own responsibilities to family and their men. Being both good mothers but also nurturing spouses that make men's struggle against the environment a worthwhile task. Women today are failing at both of these things by pretending to be equal to men, until the going gets tough, then they run and hide and leave the mess to some other man they look down upon.

And of course Christianity has a long history of keeping their women in the right place. Not done with beatings, but done with love, respect, but also very strict rules to follow.

My expectations are not much different. But I would add that she must have an IQ roughly one standard deviation above the mean (~110-115). Much lower and she would drive me nuts.

This is the bigger problem; higher IQ is rarely good looking. Also, higher IQ for women is also rarely interested in things or ideas like guys are. The best you will do is complementary with smarts and hobbies that she likes to do, as opposed to dumb gossipy interaction with other women that is the equivalent of these reality TV shows of vapid nothingness. It's filth, most of the stuff modern women watch and are interested in, in the modern day.

I've met plenty of good looking women with above average IQ, not genius level of course. More in Europe than stateside though. There's actually a tendency of attractive, young American women to hide their intelligence to make themselves more popular. Or maybe it's that filth they watch that dumbs them down.

I'm okay with not having the same interests. Just want to avoid communication issues when talking about anything more complicated than setting the table.

I was with a higher IQ woman. She was smarter than me. I have a whole thread about her that’s open for anyone to read. IQ doesn’t matter much because our minds get clouded with emotions. I can’t win her back with my ability to talk of Marx and Engels God and angels… points if you get the reference.

I’d argue being over-educated and ‘high IQ’ makes women even worse. Those PhD and lawyer types are usuallly terrible partners. I’ve made the mistake of dating a few when I was younger.

I think this talk is a cope. Many men who say this were the smarter nerdy ones when younger and the beautiful women tended to ignore them. So they want to settle for the ‘nerdy’ girl. This bothers me too. This also happens in physical and mental sports. An example is Chess where you see people criticize players of the past because they ran their games through a near perfect playing chess engine.

Yes they are incredibly annoying. And since a lot of them actually don't sleep around, you might think it's worth trying to get to know them. Nope, waste of time.

I know women like this that I've started to ignore, and now they act bitter and like a pouting child when we run into each other. Should have been nicer when we talked the first few times. Be nice to men ladies, it's not hard. And your career doesn't make you special.
