My point was about a particular, well-known phenomenon in China that magoo referenced, which was relevant to his post, and I provided some examples. It would probably be best if you just acknowledged this Chinese problem instead of trying to deflect and pivot because that prevents the conversation from staying focused.
There is no equivalent in the West of disappearing someone like Jack Ma. I can't think of anything like that happening since maybe WW2.
