Far be it from me to defend AS but he's not wrong here, nobody around the world including the lands where you originally came from defines themselves as "white" they define themselves as whatever culture they belong to.

I wont argue against it why would i, thats your right and who i am to tell you about an experience that i have not had myself, even if i tried to imagine fully what it would be like i would not be able to make sense of it as my own background is quite simple and clear.

Then there are others who do have a clear sense of where they belong and may call it white/european but this is not accepted and argued against. Would it be possible to give those people the benefit of the doubt and believe their words, that they are not making it up that they have a natural sense of that is who they are and that is their people/culture. Even if you cant imagine it to be true and it doesnt make sense TO YOU.

Its been odd for a while now the way people are invested in arguing against racial identities. Specifically the white/european one and when it happens that other races are brought in it is used to support the main argument against white/european identity. The people that argue and try to convince others that the concept of a white race makes no sense might be explained as an extension and projection of their own personal experience and way they see themselves in the world. People generally want to draw others inside their bubble its human nature.

Imagine that intermittently in discussions people would keep comming back to forcing an argument on you that you are actually black which would make no sense but thats exactly why it would be closest to saying whites are actually not white. Brother I understand your overall point but let me clarify one thing, I am absolutely not the one in a grey area. I know EXACTLY who I am and what my culture/ethnicity/race whatever you want to call it is 100% all the way down the line since the beginning of time. I get put into a grey area when you introduce the term "white", so for me the whole thing just doesn't add up.

But that being said far be it from me to tell someone else who they are, I have no right to do that. But if someone is going to use "white" as a way to divide us (not saying that is you), to divide us here as Christian brothers, then yes I am going to pick it apart.
