That's one big cock-block.

Are the gaps in the netting sufficient enough to prevent penetration?

There have always been some male cheerleaders. Ronald Reagan was a cheerleader. They are good for picking up girls to do aerial routines. Basically the girls should be the stars, but the guys can play a support role.

That being said, these two guys are gay as hell. This is the real problem. I don't care about having some athletic guys out there helping the girl cheerleaders get big air. I just don't want to see a gay man sashaying around in some kind of homoerotic horror show.

This is real cheerleading. These are actual "male cheerleaders," not gay sashaying, and they're awesome:

The sad thing is football is such a great sport, and probably the most entertaining to watch. But every year the NFL has to make it gayer and gayer. I try to give it a chance every once in a while but it's a lost cause. Morals are more important than watching something that doesn't even matter.

The really sad thing is the average American man doesn't see anything wrong with this. Or he's too addicted to watching other men play a game.

I had forgotten about the 1984 San Diego Padres. They didn’t win a World Series, but they did win a pennant with an insane cast of characters, and half of them hated each other, like half of them hated the other half from a variety of reasons

To give you an example of how crazy their team was, their closer was rich “goose” Gossage, a future Hall of Fame pitcher and the owner said that he was too fat. Gossage goes on some rants about how the owners are poisoning the world with their McDonald’s hamburgers.(the owners , the Kroc family had a hand in expanding McDonald’s, and also bought the Padres to keep the team in San Diego . Gossage would normally be considered an eccentric character but there’s about a dozen other players on this team more eccentric

Greg nettles. 3b (former Brooklyn dodger ) and Steve Garvey 1b (former Yankee) are on the 84 padres and they hate each other from the dudger ysnkee rivalry

Lead off hitter Alan Wiggins is having daily heated debates with ace pitcher Eric Show(ultra conservative). Now remember it’s 1984 and at this point there’s still a lot of actual real racism in the USA. Someone like Wiggins would try to get a hotel room and be told “fuck you n*gger you can’t stay here” etc. Wiggins was very much a fan of Malcolm x and militant black figures.

Apparently they keep it relatively civil compared to some of the other lunatics on this team.

Midway through the season, braves vs padres.
Craziest brawl in the history of Major league baseball that seem to create chemistry for the Padres and they would go onto to win the pen that year

Basically, they were multiple brawls once every few innings because the teams kept throwing it the opposing hitter and getting hit by pitch. Three of the managers and acting managers at the Padres got ejected and some of the players, and there were multiple fines as well.

Edit
Pretty good summary of the the 84 padres season , I’m not doing the team justice in describing the characters

Tony Gwynn was on this team, only 24 but still a good outfielder.

That video clip of the crazy brawl has so much flickering and static, but I remember up until about 20 years ago that was common even with cable TV, and you absolutely had it over the air. I didn't start getting perfectly clean TV images until they switched to digital cable, which was only a few years before HD came out.

Also, that was a crazy brawl!

Although we still shouldn't be watching it for political reasons, I will give credit to the NFL for being entertaining. Same for college football. The other leagues are pretty boring and not even missed, but football is the hardest to stop watching.

One thing I don't really understand is being a "diehard" fan of one team and spending a lot of money. Seems pretty gay to be acting like that as an adult. But watching casually was usually a good time.

Football is indeed the hardest to stop watching. This is the first year that I didn't purchase Sunday Ticket. However, I did purchase NFL+ at 1/4 the cost where you can watch all the replays of each game. So now I wait a few hours until the games are done, hopefully not see the scores, and then watch the replay. At least I'm not paying crazy fees anymore.

My problem with sports these days is that it's a thinly veiled medium for clout chasing. I'm tired of seeing broads advertise which team they like. I'm tired of the armchair UFC warriors endlessly debating over who will kick who's ass. Football is as queer as it gets.

One of the things that keeps me coming back to football is the fact that my closest friends, who are now spread out in N. America, are into it. It's the venue around which we gather online on weekends and take time off. Also the game is pretty unique as a combination of raw strength, high skills and highly cerebral schemes.

Lol, I live in The Rio Grande Valley , TX when I'm in America and we now have a new Football team out here that is absolutely dominating and 3-0. The people out here football crazy, bbq venues with the dudes, cowboy booth saloons with tejano music and all that jazz, briskets - mexican rice and beans and it's brought the community together. The only thing that I'm worried about though is the impact that it will have in the local high school football teams, maybe it's not going to be as popular or as much of a showboating event anymore since my hometown has sold its soul to demi sports god corporations so to speak. Whatever man, on a good day I'd rather go skateboarding go surfing my brothers than go attend a college football game that makes me want to take a leak in the middle of the game.....and I have to hold it in, sort of like going to the movies.
