South Korea

So basically south Korea is an unstable third world country. Just Samsung is giving them a first world face.
More like neurotic...

In their defense they’re old people. Old people need doctors visits. Asian countries are looking at a demographic cliff.

I heard in Japan there was this village where everyone aged out and died and only one woman is left and she made dolls of the deceased townspeople to fill the space.
It’s very sad

Why would America want to off Yoon? He aligned SK with Japan and took an aggressive trading stance against China. He even flew all the way over to the White House to sing American Pie to Biden :ROFLMAO:.

I also saw that Yoon did not loop in the US of his plans to declare Martial Law ahead of time.

Sounds like a big whoopsie to me.

I think it may be the other way round.
America may have secretly supported the martial law attempt to keep other Korean politicians who are pro China out of power.
It failed obviously.

Ex-South Korean defense minster attempts suicide

Former South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, currently under arrest after last week's attempt to impose martial law in the country, has attempted suicide, Shin Yong-hae, the head of the correctional center where the minister is held, said on Wednesday.

A guard on duty reported that Kim attempted suicide in a toilet at an order awaiting room, Yonhap cited Shin as telling the South Korean Parliament.

The center's staff immediately interfered and prevented the attempt by the ex-minister, the penitentiary official said, adding that Kim is currently under guard and his health does not cause alarm.

South Korean Authorities Move to Arrest Impeached President Yoon
South Korean authorities moved on Friday to arrest impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol, Yonhap News reported, as protesters clashed with police outside his residence. Yoon faces a criminal investigation over a Dec. 3 martial law attempt, with an arrest marking an unprecedented move against a sitting president.
The Corruption Investigation Office, leading a joint team of police and prosecutors, began executing the warrant amid reports of resistance from Yoon’s Presidential Security Service. Around 2,800 police were deployed, while 100 protesters gathered early Friday to block the arrest attempt.

Nearly 3,000 police officers are supporting investigators attempting to arrest former South Korean President Yoon Seok-yul in a high-profile sedition case.
Military personnel securing Yoon have blocked law enforcement officers, preventing them from entering the former president’s residence.

It looks like this involvement is too heavy handed and is backfiring in SK.

In Japan, the new PM Shigeru seems more independent-minded than his predecessor.

Breaking:
Second attempt is being made now to arrest president Yoon after he was impeached.
It's currently around 5:30am in the very early morning in Korea right now, and the sun hasn't even come up yet.
Last time they had to turn back cause the presidential security forces blocked them....lets see if they get through this time.

BBC news reporting there are 1000 police officers surrounding all sides of the presidential palace but the president's security team won't let them in, so now the police want to arrest the head of the president's security team and head of the bodyguards.

Meanwhile in North Korea......
