Why would America want to off Yoon? He aligned SK with Japan and took an aggressive trading stance against China. He even flew all the way over to the White House to sing American Pie to Biden .
I also saw that Yoon did not loop in the US of his plans to declare Martial Law ahead of time.
Sounds like a big whoopsie to me.

South Korean Authorities Move to Arrest Impeached President Yoon
South Korean authorities moved on Friday to arrest impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol, Yonhap News reported, as protesters clashed with police outside his residence. Yoon faces a criminal investigation over a Dec. 3 martial law attempt, with an arrest marking an unprecedented move against a sitting president.
The Corruption Investigation Office, leading a joint team of police and prosecutors, began executing the warrant amid reports of resistance from Yoon’s Presidential Security Service. Around 2,800 police were deployed, while 100 protesters gathered early Friday to block the arrest attempt.
Nearly 3,000 police officers are supporting investigators attempting to arrest former South Korean President Yoon Seok-yul in a high-profile sedition case.
