Seems reasonable. Perhaps
@Samseau would be willing to work with you on getting some threads migrated over to a more appropriate location. Alternately, I think I could move the entire coffee house node to another section, if that is preferable.
Would you further consider the Coffee House move?
Under the Ladies forum
https://christisking.cc/#ladies-forum.9 there is Ladies General
https://christisking.cc/forums/ladies-general.10/ and Coffee House
https://christisking.cc/forums/coffee-house.72/.
Since women can now post in general sections elsewhere, and there are multiple threads in the Coffee House that have been started and maintained through men's involvement (e.g.
https://christisking.cc/threads/peak-fertility-for-women-and-men.788/) I would suggest the following:
1. Leave Ladies General as the ladies-only forum. Although CIK will likely always have a small number of ladies here, I think maintaining one ladies-only forum makes sense.
2. Move Coffee House to a general node where both men and women can participate. I can't see back end access, although Living
https://christisking.cc/#living.4 or Other Topics
https://christisking.cc/#other-topics.34 appear suitable. This will enable prior discussions to continue without having to ask
@Samseau to manually move individual threads.
I mostly browse via the What's New tab
https://christisking.cc/whats-new/. Still, if easily implemented, brief signposting on the nodes/forums may be useful: "Men only", "Mixed" or Ladies only". This could help members in deciding where to post when browsing via the Forums view.
Since we're here

... another requested site update would be to revert to the prior option in thread navigation, where you can sort threads by both chronological pages and number of reactions per post. This was available in a prior CIK update. Can we get this back?
Ideally this would apply
(a) in individual threads
(b) on poster profiles under 'postings'
Adding the reactions option makes it easier to locate gems or talking points within popular threads (e.g. meme threads) or within veteran posters' extensive history.

Let's use the data of reactions for discovery. Perhaps a sort? But within a thread, for finding funniest post, most helpful answer, etc. XF has no Q&A, or Best Answer functionality. But we can customize the reactions to ones that suit our communities, like Helpful. Let's take Helpful as the...
