Looks like Commie News Network is just salty that Nick is getting more attention and doing their job for them because they are so utterly incompetent at reporting the facts.
She didn't even get the details right, the first arrests were back in 2015, but she's too busy trying to 'gotcha!' someone doing actual reporting...
And she didn't know the state commissioner said the day before that the day care in question, the Quality Learing Center, had been closed the previous week, or that after she said that, its manager showed up and ushered in a few random kids for the cameras.

In response to this investigation, the Washington State Attorney General issued a warning that "threatening" daycares will be punished, to which US DOJ Asst. Atty Gen for Civil Rights, Harmeet Dhillon, responded. It's well-summarized in this short Zero Hedge article.
The attorney generals and other officials where these scams are taking place, including police, are suddenly against journalists calmly approaching tax-payer funded businesses and asking questions on camera. Suddenly this is threatening and harassment and, according to the cop in the Washington State video, it's well-documented how the "local community" will respond, so they can't allow you to continue upsetting people.
However, if you say a naughty word, make the okay gesture, or question the narrative, The Daily Mail will descend upon you and your family's residences 24/7 to dox your address and photograph your wife so antifa knows where to throw the molotovs and at whom, and when you ask police and local officials to protect you, they'll say, hey, what can we do, that's just the press doing their jobs. They're protected.

Hang on a second, it isn’t a crime to go to a daycare center and straight up ask them “I have a young child age one year old, I’m looking for information about daycare, as far as hours and cost, what can you tell me about your daycare center?”

There’s so much bigger questions? Basically all USA citizens would have to pay for daycare or childcare out of pocket. We are making programs for Somali Pirates and giving them the means to commit $9 billion in fraud, by essentially giving them blank checks for Medicaid and welfare with essentially zero oversight. This is gone on for decades. Let’s pretend that the day care centers weren’t blatantly fraudulent, why exactly are we offering and giving non citizens free welfare? This isn’t adding up..
Then add in the fact that all of them are very blatantly in your face, ripping off the American government for welfare and Medicaid fraud.

Sadly, Nick is probably correct. Watch how it plays out, but this is the expected play by the GOP. Do nothing but drain energy back into support for Israel and anti-White policies. The next step would be a full military enlistment boycott and a tax boycott, but that will take massive organization.
They need a new income stream of political capital since they've already spent what they got from Charlie Kirk's assassination.
