Ukraine basically had attacked Russia first, back in 2014 when they broke the Minsk agreements and attacked the Russian population of Donbas. This went unreported in the western press and Russia showed restraint to the level of folly until they finally retaliated in 2022. I don't think Ukraine was ever going to attack Russia proper.

A caveat, I've seen some strong supporters of Ukraine claim that the Russian separatists in Donbas broke the Minsk agreements first by attacking the Donetsk airport. Maybe those here who are more knowledgeable could comment on who first broke the Minsk agreements. but my understanding has always been that it was the Ukrainians.

I think if Ukraine had launched a large offensive into Crimea at the beginning, with all their fresh troops and gear at the time, it would have been harder for Russia than it was by Russia getting the jump on them. Also, I don't think they would have had any advantage in international opinion, since Russia's annexation of the Crimea has not been recognized.

Bullshit. Putin should have ignored NATO... let them come right up to Russia's borders. Who GAF? I think the best way to respond to what you said is by sharing the military bases map, I dont see Russia as being the aggressor or the one who is provoking the situation when I look at this map, i actually think they have been pretty calm, Putin seems to be a very chilled guy too, the agreement was for Ukraine (former Russian territory) not to have a NATO base in its country, if the roles were reversed and Russia had all its bases around USA how would you expect USA to react? During the soviet era Russia actually sent nukes to Cuba and USA wasnt happy because it was too close to US soil it was considered a threat and rightfully so.

The NATO today map is leaving out Finland and Sweden, the two most recently added dupes.

A threat? What exactly is the threat? This is the JQ propoganda again to divide and conquer the people of the world. So people really believe that the US was going to invade Russia? Or that Russia was going to drop a nuke on the US from Cuba? Both countries have nukes that can reach the other no matter the "closeness" of said nukes. Destruction is mutually assured and this is why neither one of our so-called "leaders" will fire the first nuke. It is ridiculous to think that Russia's borders were going to be changed by NATO or the US or that Putin lives in fear of either entity. Pure fantasy. I don't know how many times it must be stated here that all of this is the jews attacking themselves. The jews own/control Russia and the jews own/control the US. Putin, like Biden and Trump are JQ stooges, (((they))) are not our "friends."

The jew's goal is to eliminate Christianity by killing as many white, heterosexual, Christian men as possible via uneccessary for-profit wars (Ukraine, Iraq/Afghanistan, etc.) and by stripping them of access to the US dollar (bitcoin, BRICS, etc.). The jews are (and always have been) attacking Christianity from every angle, and with regards to monetary policy and war all actions of Russia and the US should be viewed through this lens.

That isn't what Putin feared. He didn't expect NATO to invade his country or fire off nukes. He feared that NATO would continue to expand and squeeze his country out, which would cause serious economic issues, and then allow for a complete regime change that would turn Russia into another globohomo puppet state. He says so in his speeches about not allowing the disgusting values of the west to invade Russia. Child transitioning, destruction of the family unit, etc. He talks about this when discussing why he felt attacking Ukraine was necessary.

Putin has kept the war as a proxy war, because he has said many times the war can only be won by removing the US$ as the world reserve currency. Once that is complete, the power the USA has will collapse quickly. So, most of Putin's work is building up BRICS and attacking the US$. Had he just sat at home and done nothing, they could continue to take pot shots at Putin and his regime, from eastern NATO and undermine his legitimacy among his citizens and other countries on the fence as to remain a globohomo puppet state or go with BRICS.

My point was that Ukraine had an agreement to not allow NATO bases and that agreement has been broken its its USA that in Ukraine fight a war so yes I would take that as a serious threat if I was Russia, there is war at their borders and NATO is there fighting, not everything Putin says or does is right but at the end of the day he is a baptized Orthodox Christian and Russia is a big Christian stronghold

You could correct the map here and there if you like but it wont really change much, its not Russia setting up military bases all over USA, by far USA has the most military bases all over the world and they are literally starting to surround Russia, why Russia is seen as an enemy Im not really sure, they are European they are part of Europe
