The title of the original thread is misleading - "Why voting is worth it". Should be renamed "is voting worth it?".

I'm curious about the ins and outs of running the forum from a technical point of view. Does each new thread cost some amount of money, which is lost if the thread were deleted?

What are some of the other operational details involved in running the forum?
