It's a pretty common argument where they bring up OT clothing and dietary restrictions, trying to argue that Christians are "hypocritical" or something because we eat shellfish and wear polyester clothes (technically forbidden according to OT law). What is shellfish polyester?

Polyester is made of multiple different materials and they argue that this goes against Leviticus 19:19. I've heard this argument from atheists, not from prots. Their argument is that since we don't follow those OT laws, it's "hypocritical" of us to follow OT laws on morality, particularly the "sodomy is bad" thing.I've never heard that in my entire life. Must be a prot thing?
