In the US there are people that think it's socialist (usually Fox News boomers) to want to be treated decently by an employer. So these people are absolutely dumb enough to believe it.
A lot of people at jobs also do a terrible job at training and treat younger people like garbage. I think their line of thinking is they had to put up with it when they were young, so we should too. But now younger guys are saying screw this, I'll just go find something else where I'm treated better, and not end up miserable and bitter.
But no one wants to work anymore. So let's hire some Haitian or Mexican for $10/hr that doesn't know any better. Or offer Americans $12/hr and wonder why only unreliable people are applying.
