Getting off-topic but an issue with these state churches is that they usually get become super liberalized with progressive theology. They don't even manage to pass on this progressive form of Christianity; rather the trend in countries with these sort of state churches is the population ends up becoming super secularized even if they still remain nominal state Christians via paying taxes and having weddings/funerals in their state churches.

Look at countries like England, Finland, Denmark and the like for the prime examples. These countries are some of the most atheist ones with large amounts of people being actively hostile towards Christianity despite them having flags with Christian crosses, required religious education, and laws on the books that promotes Christianity. US, on the other hand has a Constitution that prevents all of these from happening yet the nation has consistently been more religious then western Europe throughout it's entire history. Tocqueville when he was touring the US in the 19th century already noticed how much more Americans were devoted to Christianity compared to Europeans.

Interesting. This is a good point. The European Constitutional Monarchies whose power is derived from God are even more secular than America.

I guess I operate off the concept of divine authority. Without it the guys telling you what to do, their authority comes from the barrel of a gun. There’s no legitimacy. Biggest gun gets the say. As a boy I always believed Americas authority comes from the constitution and the consent of the governed - but COVID and the 2020 summer of love just goes to show you it was always the barrel of a gun. Divine authority is more legitimate.

I love tamales...thing is, with the internet, anybody can learn how to make tamales at home, themselves. There is literally no reason for that person to be in the USA.
That was basically the basis for the original Iron Chef show: the best chefs in Spanish, Italian, French etc. cuisine, and they were all Japanese.

Problem is who gets to be state church? This is something I bought up earlier on another thread. Congratulations - Jews are removed from the levers of power. So who is the state church? I see no plan to have something to step in and be a state church like they have over in Europe. Which branch of Christianity gets the seal of approval? Unless you remove the separation of church and state, they’ll come back. Honestly this was a screw up in the 1A. The founding fathers never imagined Jews in America becoming so powerful. I personally believe in a half 1A - congress makes no law in regards to free exercise, but congress is free to establish religion. In a healthy society church and state are one. This has to do with the legitimacy of authority.
I don't see that we can have a state denomination. However, I believe that the US government should declare that we are a Christian nation, and that individuals and groups, including local governments, can have Christian prayers, symbols, decorations, holidays and public observances. We should have freedom of religion for heathen religions too, but the point is that there would be no restrictions on practicing our Christian faith publicly and corporately.

40 years old, dressed in yoga attire, and doing it for attention. There's something wrong in her personal life guaranteed.

When around these types, you're better served if you don't hear the words, but instead visualize a monkey in a hat, banging two cymbals together loudly.

@ 1:12 they start whining at some poor guy in a blue Santa Fe just trying to back out of a space and leave this craziness, videoing him and all. Its literally just some person, not a fed; the plate has a dealer plate frame around it. Midwits at their finest.
