The Church the apostle Thomas started in India is considered Oriental, I think. Off topic, but I have a soft spot for the Ethiopian Church. Churches hewn from solid stone and in the sides of cliffs, forest churches,... awesome.

It's really the only sub-Saharan African country that had what we'd consider a civilization.

Their king Kaleb of Aksum ended up killing Dhu Nuwas, the Yemenite Jew who was persecuting Christians in Arabia. Although this is certainly offset by the later king "Najashi" providing Muhammad refuge from persecution by Arab tribes, an historic mistake.

I've noticed Dyer leaning into racial digs when engaging with OO specifically. Sadly it plays right into OO inferiority complexes since they're mostly non-White. White OO converts are flattered and showcased, and influencers like Full Armor Apologetics and Armenian Ortho Nation are selected to engage with EO and other "alt-right"-leaning Christians so that race-based insults can be circumvented (although both of them are Armenian, at least partially). I've noticed Muslims do the same. It doesn't please me to say it, but this is how it is.

Here's a tweet where the low-life calls Syriac Christians a "brown cult" in the comments.

Ethiopians are their own sub race / culture and have their own distinct history which is not really comparable with the rest of sub Saharan Africa.

The apostle's tomb is in a Catholic Basilica- of the Syro-Malabar eastern rite if I'm not mistaken- in Chennai (where Ashok Leyland is headquartered):

There was a famous Marian apparition in Egypt happening from 1968 to 71 at the Coptic church on the very spot where the Holy Family stopped to rest:

While every Protestant is a priest (since the New Testament clearly teaches a universal priesthood), it is not accurate to say that every Protestant is a Bishop anymore than it's accurate to say that every Protestant is a Pastor.

The Marian apparition at Zeitoun is one of the most documented cases of the supernatural. So many people saw it that I can’t see a way for skeptics and atheists to brush it away. The only criticism is there is no video evidence that I’m aware of. The fact that they shutoff power and induced a city wide black out, all the while the lights from the apparition kept appearing is compelling.

I can cancel out Jay completely and arrive at the same place. Fr. Peter Heers has done a multitude more for me than Jay. Stop being obsessed about one guy, it's not healthy. Instead of being a reactionist focus on the doctrines themselves.
