I've been following this thread for news about the conflict and appreciate all the input from forum members. Something I find myself wondering is this conflict setting the stage for the antichrist to step out of the shadows and make peace like the book of revelation speaks of? Obviously nobody is going to know for sure but nothing has been the same since 2020, I think we can all agree on that. If this is off topic mods I understand if you want to move

It still seems too early. There's still a very large segment of people who are totally unaware of Iran. They couldn't care less because it's just "some other middle east thing". It doesn't affect their daily lives. It's only people similar to us focusing on it that are fretting about it. It needs to be at the level of covid, where everyone is personally very affected. Take a shot or you aren't allowed in Church / not allowed to eat level. I don't see that happening even with a nuclear weapon etc.

As for the strait it is f irrelevant for west. And why are europeans and americans paying for oil prices which are meant to asians? China is not paying higher prices for Iranian oil—in fact, it continues to buy Iranian crude at a discount ($10–$20 below market rates).
They also sit on a 4-month oil stockpile, bought with pre-war prices and and diversified supply via pipelines from Russia and Central Asia.

So, Iran is getting rich as we speak, while the USA has an annual trade deficit of 2 million barrells.

Russia is also a beneficiary of increased oil prices (up to $150 million in additional daily revenue from oil sales, mainly to India and China, suggesting a $6–7 billion windfall since the conflict began.)

Look, I want the fall of globohomo/satanic synagogue as well but I really doubt it's happening from this. This is a playground for the elite. (And if the center of gravity moves to China or Russia it's because the elites want that).

And do we really want the fall of globohomo? Do we realize if globohomo falls it means no internet, no airplanes, nothing. Modernity is really gone. This endeavor of building babel we've been doing for centuries now disintegrates. We are all bargaining with the devil here unless you are maybe amish, or monk on a mountain top, or some third world bedouin. Sorry to say that. I know that's no fun. Maybe we can hope for a speed bump.

My point was that the threat to Ukraine is not empty to add to Cad’s post.

I have no idea what will come out of this but if the fall of globohomo happens then it can be traced to its own doing. Iran had been patient and clearly been holding back all these years and after numerous pokes now the hornets nest is buzzing. Their objective goal is clearly regional though so if globalhomo falls it wont be from Iran.
