Yep, I'm laughing at all the people who were fretting that this would be WW3, that Trump sold out, or whatever.

Congrats to all the doom-pillers, every one of you was played like a child. The Pentagon informed Iran of the strikes on their nuclear sites well in advance, several days in advance. Likewise Iran did the same thing for the retaliation. No one was killed, some stuff got blown up.

Would give a 2 out of 10 on the future accuracy of that prediction. Even though some elements might be useful. Use parts of it. I googled MJ12 and saw a wikipedia page about it. Read the first two lines and dismissed it. It´s something related to space.

Meanwhile in the real world Putin just elaborated on why Russia ain't backing Iran. Yesterday at the SPIEF. Wait for it: because Russia and Israel are respected friends, and there are over 2 million Russian speakers in Israel (about 1 million of which are Russian citizens).

The Iranian 'retaliation' on the other hand was telegraphed in beforehand - according to local tradition as this point. In the coming days a deal will be made, or imposed, by the US on all parties. The Likudniks clearly have a big influence in Trump's Administration, but they don't hold the final say. Furthermore striking a regime which starts every parliamentary session with a 'Death to America' chant, and which has been a regional adversary in the Middle East for decades is not something odd, especially when there is reasonable suspicion they are moving towards a nuclear deterrent. I thought Tel Aviv was supposed to be gone from the map last week and/or that Israel's infrastructure is supposed to be crippled to the point where they aren't going to have water/power for an extended amount of time. Whether the USA gets involved or not, it is probably too late for Israel. There is probably nothing left of Israel as of right now. It would cost trillions to even try to rebuild it. Iran told us they would blow Israel off the map if they messed with them, promises made, promises kept.

Be more level-headed with what you are predicting. Also for everyone, be sure to vary the X accounts/sources you are following. You get wildly different narratives depending on what you are following. I'm hoping people have learned from the early days of the Russian/Ukraine war where people on X and other media were making claims that ranged from "Kiev will fall within weeks" to "the Ghost of Kiev has just shot down six garillion Russian planes".

Iran and their people are very small talk and slow moving. So far, their promises have been kept, I suspect that they have something up their sleeve.

Now they are telling people around the Dimona Nuclear facility to get out of the area. If they are able to hit this area with a strong enough strike, the fall out of radiation could be very bad.
