Those who move from the west to Dubai are truly only focused on money. You have to be exceptionally materialistic and superficial to look past Sharia law, sweltering heat and zero history or cultural appeal to make a move like that.
I should have been more specific. When I wrote source I meant to say news/media sources.

The tweet is based on a random comment section by guys with a Chinese usernames. And that's somehow the basis for claims regarding information the Chinese government is spreading.
It's the equivalent of someone with an American flag in their profile picture saying "we've nuked Toronto" and people subsequently assuming that's JD Vance's official account.
Sounds like something an average grandma would believe. The image of the arrest is also AI generated. The guy who made the tweet is either trolling or ignorant.
I don't think these are Chinese government accounts or reflect what the Chinese government believes. It's just general slop and engagement bait. I do think there is a flooding of this sort of material all over the place to influence the average grandmas of the world so there is a need to remain vigilent. Yesterday I saw two X accounts (IranObserver0 and IranTimes9 - one of which is located in South Asia) claim that the ayatollah was about to give a speech with lots of "Ishallah" replies so there are definitely people who are falling for this sort of content.
I'm going to take a moment and say - regardless of any one of yours bias (meant in a non-derogatory but merely empirical way), this community is once again an exceptional aggregator of news from the whole spectrum. So, cheers to you all.

As for the GCC meeting mentioned earlier, the GCC members issued a statement wherein the members said 'they reserve a right to respond' to Iranian aggression. Additionally France, Germany and the UK have issued a statement on the Iranian missile attacks on their bases and mentioned 'defensive actions' to limit the targeting of their assets and personnel.
