Happy New Year brothers! What you got tonight?

For me, it was turning 40 that did it. And after turning 50, now I don't want to be out past 11.
Ticking down the last few hours of the 1st quarter of the 21st century. Crazy to think just how much the world has changed in the last 25 years...
Taking my old lady out to a nice dinner to round out the year and to show her some appreciation for putting up with all my shit... Between the crazy work schedule and being out of town about a third of the year, then add in multiple heavy metal concerts... I've been a busy bee and she's kept the fort held down. Looking forward to a nice dinner at our favorite place reflecting on all the joys and conducting a nice year in review with my wife who reminds me what this rat race is all for.
2025 has been an amazing year of growth personally, financially, and for our family as we added a munchkin to our clan this year so many many many things do celebrate in 2025... And the best is get to come.
Ideally I get home and the old lady takes advantage of me, and I'm asleep before midnight but...ill more likely be roused by my teenager to light some things on fire at midnight..hell we may even shoot some guns.
Wishing you all a happy and successful 2026 and hopefully you're able to reflect on 2025 with a sense of gratitude for God's Grace and appreciation for all the wonderful luxuries we have living in the richest and most abundant time in human history!

As for me, I want to thank every member who has contributed value to CiK and supported their brothers and sisters here.

Cuba is one of the few countries that had a successful political revolution that culminated on new years eve.
Went to bed early so as to catch the first sunrise of the year. Caught it at a bridge overlooking the train yard and the skyline of my city, wrapped in the morning glow of amber light and purple sky.
This is our year! To all you who've been working at making things happen instead of just letting things happen or wondering what happened, its gonna pay off. Pray for the patience to remember its the process not the product that's really important. God bless you all, my CiK brothers!
