Gonzalo Lira (Coach Red Pill)

Any updates on this?
Looks like he's been in and out of jail a few times, but he's still alive (last X post was May 3). He's a brave man, indeed:

Also, Mike Cernovich has recently X posted about Gonzalo Lira. Old forum beef aside, it is good to see it from him and it is appreciated. Gonzalo's death is still totally unappreciated by our leaders.

Well everyone, I was up late and couldn’t sleep so I figured now was as good a time as any to revisit the tragic case of Gonzalo Lira and his untimely passing. Especially considering this date-January 12th-is the two-year anniversary of his supposed “death”.

Please note that I am not trying to be in any way sarcastic or unsympathetic towards him or his family, but rather towards the authorities who “apparently” let him waste away in their care. And that’s putting it mildly. In all likelihood, they either let Lira die, or ensured that he would succumb to his illnesses various as they may have been.

I was actually quite fond of Lira and thought his work was honest, if a bit blunt. If nothing else, let’s all pray for his family that they find peace and answers over the next few years.

His reporting and opinions are missed by myself quite a bit. His bluntness was appreciated espicially during the early days of the Rus/Ukraine war.

Anybody know the timeline and reason for his first arrest in Ukraine when he would have initially had his passport taken by authorities and essentially trapped him there? IIRC he began broadcasting against Zelensky following this, which was practically a suicide mission that took almost two years to complete.

^What sealed Gonzalo's fate was a long exposé on Victoria Nuland and her father's ancestral hatred for Russia (see blow). Using Ukraine to hurt Russia became her lifelong mission. She reportedly saw his vid, and made sure Lira rotted in his Ukrainian goulag.
