Haha those definitely weren't my geese! My geese were aggressive giant monster terrors to anyone who wasn't me or maybe my dad and sister. If those were my geese everyone in that crowd would be screaming and running from being viciously attacked for having the audacity to be breathing the same air as them....
Sounds like a perfect horror movie script.
If you saw my old farm with the dreary twisting path where you can't see the end with the trees hanging over head leading to the clearing it would totally have fit into a horror movie, I would say I'll get a pic but it's all overgrown now and closed off, we demolished all the bird houses and sheds and just let it all grow. Kinda sad because it used to be so full of life. My dad always wanted to be a farmer and it was his like playland but in the end it's still just an investment property I only moved there because I didn't want to go back to my parents after college it just made sense for me to be there and I do love that kind of life, it's about 30 acres with a few different houses on it. One day I'll be back on a secluded farm once life is more settled but it won't be that one.
They were such good animals, never lost another bird again after I brought them in. But man when they wanted to be they were tough, they were 3 brothers and when they fought latching on to each others necks in a tripod and slamming their giant boney wings into each other it was rough. I had to break them up and I would be bruised all over from doing it, all 3 of them thought they were the leader it seemed and brothers fight sometimes. But they were very gentle with the flock and I've watched them come flying in first hand to stand up against predators including coyotes, bashing into hawks mid air and a random roving half wild dog once, who knows what happened when I wasn't around. I've opened the flocks barn in the morning to see them all blood stained standing over the dead bloody carcass of a raccoon and possum who they killed in the middle of the night that had somehow snuck in, no idea how they always got in it boggled my mind. They loved me would give me big group hugs, hard and tough but good animals....and I would know I've had some BAD animals for sure!
