CPR brings a monkey back to life.
For some reason, this brought to mind a time I was present when a bitch was giving birth (to puppies obviously). One of the puppies seemed clearly dead, I think the first, but I'm not sure. As the others were squeezed out, the lady (my wife's friend) who owned the bitch was massaging the puppy that appeared to be dead.
It took a long time, long enough for the other three to be born, at least 10 minutes after the apparently dead puppy was squeezed out, and then it started showing a small response! It was a super long time with no signs of life.
The lady kept massaging it, and eventually after a good 20 minutes that puppy was nice and pink, and was wiggling around like the rest. It ended up being completely normal even a year later.
