Yea.... WE SHOULD ALL be making our lives better. I agree interest rates were TOO LOW for TOO LONG and will not be that low for another 10 years atleast. Peter Schiff would say they should never get that low, but I'm not tooooo sure I take him as gospel....as much as I think he's awesome and I like gold.... I suspect we'll see sub 3% loans again in our future.
Biden is absolutely the worst thing for people making good money and poor people alike. If he doesnt get booted (which I think he will) I'll be sad.... but I'll be ok. I'm in the top 10%+ income earnings in the state, have a graduate degree., and in a specialty that allows me major job security... a 10% increase on groceries or gasoline or whatever just means I don't spend as much money on my hobbies or buy a few less high end bottles of scotch a month.
that said... for the folks struggling (which I've been post divorce, making 1/3 what I make now with 5 kids) that sort of margin change and expense would be awful and seem impossible to overcome.
I think @Samseau pointed this out on RVF when he said Cohen paid all the money himself to get rid of the story and then back billed Trump to look like he fixed a problem (thats how I remembered it at least... Maybe I'm wrong but seems right now)

Stuff like this makes me glad I'm not rich. The whore's testimony was irrelevant to the case. If Trump used campaign funds to pay a non-disclosure then he would have been charged for an FEC violation of illegal use of campaign funds.
He didn't, so now they charge him for an illegal campaign contribution. Either way they would have construed him of having committed a crime. Non disclosures are paid out all of the time for all sorts of reasons by people not running for office. And many are very personal in nature.
If they want you for whatever reason, they can construe anything as a crime and crush you.

It’s not illegal to have sex and pay someone to not talk about it. It’s just trashy. And the direction this country is going in I would expect nothing less from our no one citizen.
So this article claims Cohen was paid for the hush money out of 420K, and yet, no transcript of what Jeff McConney actually said. Looks like fake news to me.
That Cohen was paid 420K is not in dispute, the question is, "what for," and without showing actual allegations made by credible witnesses, all we have is a fake news article from politico.
