Women.
I work a job that involves a lot of contact with the general public, to put it without giving too much info. A middle-aged woman with a Grey shirt-dress that said "vote" on it walks in. Only the "o" is shaped like the sign for the female gender, of course. She goes around asking customers and employees alike if we're registered to vote, telling us all that she'll happily help us register and that we should remember that the woman candidate is gonna support all the women in our lives. She's not allowed to do that on our property, but my management team is so weak that they let this happen. This woman never mentioned Kamala by name, so maybe she got to slide by on a technicality. She decides to lean in on me and talk my ear off about how if I care at all about the women in my life then I'll definitely vote for the woman candidate. "Don't you wanna see a woman in the white house, after all?" I told her facetiously, "Your opinion is my opinion, I'm voting for who you're voting for, but please bear in mind that my opinion is solely my own and does not reflect the view or values of [company name]." She was satisfied with that and walked away without bothering anyone else. My colleague, a Latina who already knows that what I said to the customer was BS looked at me and said "I liked the way you handled that," with the look in her eye that said she wouldn't have been able to stop herself from telling this person to just get lost, haha.
So, yeah, spinsters, cat ladies, and single-issue voters are probably gonna turn out very strong for Kamala. After all, you do care about the women in your life, rrriiiiigggghhtttt.........???
