Apparently the US has the 2nd highest suicide rate out in the Americas according to WHO.
Few if any of those countries except maybe Argentina has suicide stats as reliable as the USA. I'm sure theirs are under-counted.

The increase in property taxes is certainly tied to all the scams that suck down taxpayer money.Going back to the real estate discussion earlier, how much do you guys think fraud/scamming government programs has contributed to massive inflation of housing values?
For example, MSP values could easily be 2-3x market value with all of the extra money floating around from daycares and medical transportation....imagine if that's happening in the majority of major cities in America???

what was the average house size for a medieval serf compared to a 2 bedroom apartment

Instead, the young king was tortured. The governments of both England and Spain “heard accounts from their spies that the boy was raped by prostitutes in order to infect him with venereal diseases to supply the Commune with manufactured “evidence” against the Queen” and in October the boy was bullied into signing a “confession” that his mother had molested him.

In consideration, the greatest threat and the reason for the lefts dominance is not capture of the institutions or control of the culture.History isn't being rewritten or erased. It already was.
10/10 most retarded thing I've read all day.
I'll happily take my free like, and freezer full of the Kings Meat over living like a serf.
What an effing dump post
builds character, not pussies like we have today. They also didn't have a pot to piss in...
Ate mostly a poor diet,
and had all their children living in a 1 room hovel.
Yeah leaches were great. And blood letting was great.
Totally better than life saving neonatal care
This is about the only thing you can defend, but still: see modern diet.and medical interventions like open heart surgery
or modern medicine.
Haha this is all laughable.builds character, not pussies like we have today.
Uh, no. That one is false. You can pick out particulars from our time period and ancient periods but if you are generally comparing diets to the average modern diet it's the average modern diet that is absurdly poor. Oh, but they only had scraps of bread and porridge back then. That bread puts any of the industrial waste we call bread or food to shame. Most of the modern diet is entirely artificial and is itself the reason we need this vaunted medical system - to maintain some semblance of health.
again, builds character, not pussies.
Be careful with this, you do know there are modern versions of exactly the same thing?
I see you specified "neo" natal care. Not sure what you mean by that other than trying to fix a problem that didn't rampantly exist before having our hormones jacked by every new artificial thing in existence.
Let's also talk about modern "natal care". It's absurdly idiotic. Another great example of creating a problem that we then "solve". Why do you think most women's hormones are so messed up now that they turn to IVF? Big mystery. And the way we do birth? Pumping women full of pitocin to "guide along the birthing process" (oh, the doctor's on a schedule) and then freaking out when their contractions go crazy because of said pitocin. And, oh, you know what we need to do now that there's a meltdown?, lets jab her in the spine to paralyze her so she doesn't feel those out of control contractions from what we pumped her full of. Throw some narcotics in too. Oh, now she can't feel her lower body? oh crap, why can't she do this?, I guess now we just need to do a C-section. Yay medical science. Yeah, absolutely brilliant.
But no worry! I'm sure your medical technology saviors will soon free women from needing to carry their children at all! You can all have your kids grown in artificial amniotic pods. Are you all going to race to that technological marvel?
This is about the only thing you can defend, but still: see modern diet.
haha, no. I can't believe we think this is a good thing after covid. It all comes at a cost.
You realize there are people in the world other than you and your precious family, do you?Haha this is all laughable.
We bake our own bread, have our own eggs and raise meat birds, grow a lot of our own produce, and our kids have plenty of character.
This is a lifestyle choice and most of the people on here saying how much better things were then would starve to death in the Medieval Ages.
For me.... I Will happily take my 21st century comfortable life with medicine and wealth over owning nothing , being hung for shooting the kings deer, and keeping pigs and chickens in the house.... And not having my children in the same room when it's time to give the old lady the business.
And I've built plenty of character growing up rurally, have lots of farm animals now, and have been to parts of the world where people live like serfs.
I find it laughable that here are suggesting things were better then.
Geeeee that never occured to me that there were other human beings. You realize there are people in the world other than you and your precious family, do you?
also, the part about modern medicine![]()
What you are saying is true but its also already been pointed out a lot of illnesses people get are caused by modernity (micro plastics, radio wave pollution, pesticides, air pollution, industrial food, etc. 1000 years ago getting heart attacks wasn't a common thing like it is today. So again its them finding a solution for a mostly self inflicted problem.Yeah in life saving areas modern medicine is incredible. Im not talking about Pfizer and vaccines.... But there's a reason a guy who has a heart attack at 63 like my dad that otherwise would have killed him has lived another 10 years and will likely live another 10.
What are you talking about? People didn't get heart attacks at 63 in the 1500s?A 63 year old man 300 years ago would not have a heart attack in the first place to be in need of any treatment.
My dad also had a heart attack at 63 and thankfully he is still alive, but his overeliance on doctors who were dealers for big-pharma pills have created a myrriad of side-effects. Only after I encouraged him to find a more traditional doctor who limited his pills from 10-15 to 2-3, he begun feeling better.
And to adress the false claim that "peasants" worked 290 days of the year, no they didn't, they worked around 200. And those 200 would have been worked at a leisurly pace with lots of breaks for food and naps. A modern wage slave works far more for a lower quality of life. I don't count modern trinkets made of plastic as contributing anything but fake and temporary relief at great cost.
