Burchett seems to be one of the genuine good guys in Congress. He's right that Americans aren't stupid and when know what's going on.

I’ve often wondered if a lottery system would be more effective.
This is what colonialism looks like boys. With democratic institutions you can capture a foreign country without having to do things the old fashioned way.
Maybe not outright but everyone who wants to run gets to do a primary and the top 5 in the primary get a lottery. This is done for each political party so a series of lotteries from each party would face each other. That way units of like minded people would run to increase their chances of winning the post primary lottery. in turn, this would give a non bought politician a shot.
He was also a Navy SEAL.

There's really no third way other than maybe stop the bleeding of turd world immigration into the West. 'Compassionate' college educated white women are one of the main causes of this. Dying Christianity in the West is another. The game's not over yet, we know who's on the heavenly throne.
