CIK Member Appreciation Thread

After being away from the forum for two months, I’m wondering—has CIK promotion become a real thing now?

Absolutely. As CIK has evolved so too has its promotional system. You have now been given a Heritage tag.

You contributed.
You remained committed.
You spoke.

We listened.

You're a young and intelligent man with lots of potential. I hope to see you posting more.

PS - I appreciate all of the wonderful people in our community and I think this thread is pretty awesome. I'm going to add it to the featured content panel.

Shout out for keeping the bible study thread going:

The Godfather is one of, if not the most dedicated to reading, interpreting, and discussing scripture on CIK.

In recent times I've been very slack on this myself, and reading his updates is a good reminder for myself and others to keep revisiting the Word.

Along with his interesting discussions of TV shows and movies, some of his threads include:

>https://christisking.cc/threads/favorite-hymns.737

'Nuff said. Respect.

Thank you for placing your trust in me, and to this forum for believing in me. I will do my utmost not to disappoint, and I am committed to honoring the support and confidence that have been extended to me.

It is a profound honor to be among the few granted the rank of Heritage. Without the encouragement and camaraderie of this forum and its members, I would not be the person I am today.

This reflects how I feel in this moment of promotion—grateful, humbled, and deeply aware of the responsibility that comes with it.

On a more serious note—come on, man—this honestly feels like stolen valor. I don’t feel worthy of this promotion. There are far more deserving posters, like PurpleUrkle (granted, he now holds the title of Philanthropist, though not yet a full promotion to Heritage) and thinkreadwritecode.

It feels like I’ve been promoted the way video game characters are—just for showing up. Like becoming a Spectre or Pathfinder in Mass Effect, or a Brotherhood Paladin in Fallout, simply by logging in. That’s what this feels like: I return to the forum after months of absence, and suddenly I’m promoted, despite having contributed so little since this forum’s inception.

I’ve been caught—not once or twice, but multiple times—by Samseau for low-quality posts. And just this past week, the new mod team caught me again. The ratio of low-quality posts to my total contributions is so high.

Personally, I’m not proud of my posting history. Most of my own posts make me embarrassed.

Brother Seng Hock, I genuinely value your humour and humility. Please keep in mind that this is the appreciation thread, not the (self)depreciation thread.

Sometimes I can't be sure that I understand the vibe behind your posts. So to be clear -- my compliments are sincere and given based on merit.

I encourage you to keep us updated with how things are going for you in the real world. You have a bright future ahead of you, and I like to see our members share both their challenges and their successes.

Also, don't worry about @PurpleUrkel 💜. He has been promoted and recognised, though it's worth reposting here:https://christisking.cc/threads/i-h...-the-bad-and-the-ugly.1204/page-4#post-107761

Shout out to Urkel for proving the doubters wrong (the past me included). When the chips are down -- and especially if urban USA becomes overrun by the technocratic rulers of the jooish-commie-pajeet Borg conglomerate -- he's the kind of guy you want in your corner.

Yes, it's our very own Ryan... @scorpion

I had known since the days of RVF that he was a man of calm, understated intelligence. Now, after learning a bit more about his approach to things behind the scenes, I can confidently state that he is wise beyond his years. This is reflected in his measured way with words, which have consistently been on display for several years. As noted on his profile sometime ago, he is an asset to the forum.

Also, El Scorpio has a sublime sense of humour. May his satirical sting never lose its sharpness:https://christisking.cc/threads/paternos-is-fake-discussion.789/#post-34352

My favorite memory of @scorpion is from back in the dark ages of the scamdemic, when Roosh would excitedly say during one of his Roosh Hour livestreams: "I have a new @scorpion post to share with you" and it would always be something really interesting. Sometimes I really miss those days.. and though we have lost Roosh in a sense, it's a consolation that we still have some gems from those days still with us.
