Me being Eritrean Orthodox makes me biased, but I think the book of Jubilees predicting Christ and Revelation is evidence that it is canon.

Jubilees also contains a few scattered allusions to the Messianic kingdom. Robert Henry Charles wrote in 1913:

This kingdom was to be ruled over by a Messiah sprung, not from Levi—that is, from the Maccabean family—as some of his contemporaries expected—but from Judah. This kingdom would be gradually realized on earth, and the transformation of physical nature would go hand in hand with the ethical transformation of man until there was a new heaven and a new earth. Maybe not all of Revelations, but certainly the second and third chapters.

Jezebel seems to refer to those among the Modern Jews that worship Satan, and have been trying to corrupt Churches with far left degeneracy and Zionism.

Thyatira was a Church in the Bible that had many great qualities but was lead astray by a woman named Jezebel.

In this context, I feel like it refers to modern LGBT Churches, and Churches that support Zionism, or are in some way mislead by Jews.

For example, I read somewhere Roman Catholics are forbidden from preaching to Jews.

Hildegard Brem comments on this passage as follows: "In the light of Romans 11:25, the Church must not concern herself with the conversion of the Jews, since she must wait for the time fixed for this by God, 'until the full number of the Gentiles come in' (Rom 11:25). On the contrary, the Jews themselves are a living homily to which the Church must draw attention, since they call to mind the Lord's suffering (cf. Ep 363) ..." (quoted in Sämtliche Werke, ed. Winkler, I, p. 834).

The Times of the Gentiles

Looking more intently, Revelations 1 seems to refer to the first millennium mostly. For that was the time in which the Church spread most fiercely.

Revelations 2 and 3 seems to refer to the last few centuries in which Jews have gained most of their power, and the present day in which they use it most widely, and likely a future event in which God gives a chosen person a rod of iron to protect his Church.

This can't be about Jesus because it says: And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

That sounds like it's talking about Christians on Earth today, maybe not even not necessarily Christians, but certainly people who do God's work and live a Godly life.

Culture, as a whole, has lost that pressure it used to apply in terms of shame. Some things never used to be considered by people simply because it was too shameful to even think of.

We also have built a culture of making excuses. "I'm sorry, but.... ". Constantly making excuses for our behavior.

How you read that and think that "works don't matter" is beyond me. Also, one ignoring that "He will render to each man, according to his works" is at best, weird.

One of the other mysteries that is also implied in the Parable of the Last Judgment, which is the Orthodox position, is that we are saved as communities, or rather, as the people of God/His assembly. Not as singular people or an island unto ourselves. He doesn't ask, "Did you believe in me?" whatever that means, which is why I always stress that belief is actually faithfulness to Him. And doing things in life proves that you are faithful. Sometimes, of course, that includes not doing things.

By the way, there is also a proof to this, otherwise it gets to gnosticism, another great point of why modernity generally speaking, with these ideas of mental assent, is hogwash. Christ gave tasks frequently for people to do something, and it wasn't just some magical scam or tactic to immediately get something, or game God. That's why when they are faithful to Him, they are said to have been healed while they were going their way, walking to where he told them going to the priests to present themselves, for example. For this reason, it also makes sense that the proper translation in most cases is in fact that faith is faithfulness, just like when "save" is translated as "made you well."

They got replaced by General Relativity which is also wrong.

Then we got Quantum Mechanics, which nobody understands.

Man cannot so easily understand God's creation. Clearly we are missing something. We need Priests to Bless Scientists.

An Ethiopian Christian Lady was talking with me about the Bible yesterday. She told me the Bible says Women shouldn't be leaders.

What's with based black women in my life? My brother's driving instructor always made racist and sexist jokes about bad drivers. The women who got me into R.E. and subsequently Christianity was black. A teacher at my school pointing out the hypocrisy of black people saying the n-word all the time was black. My soul fathers wife told me how evil False Israel is and how one of the green eyed tribes in Palestine, the Cajun are a lost Tribe of Israel.

It's kinda weird.

Heck, apparently I was wrong about modern Ethiopians and Eritreans being descended from Moses. The same Ethiopian Lady telling me women shouldn't lead told me the original Ethiopians were lost, and they just took the name for some reason.

God is sending me the strangest messages I swear.
