God sees what we cannot or don't want to. For you it was an unpleasant interaction that's now in the past. God has to put up with all those ugly people too around the clock, we haven't given Him a second of respite since the Fall. They're not just being nasty to you, and will have to answer for it, Jesus said:
what you have done to the least of these, you have done to me. These are very profound words. I'm sorry God, I didn't know it was You.
The bad things that happen to good people- thanks to their godly disposition- can be turned into good Similar to the cross Jesus bore, it was a horrible punishment, but it's the best that's happened to humanity when all things are considered. Bad things afflicting nasty people more often than not only amplify the evil.
Father Ripperger said we should consider how many times a day all the seven billion people individually offend God every way they can- is God worse to us than we are to Him.
You come to understand what true wealth really is. Disease is evil that is easily visible, in a way we get to see the world through God's eyes.
