Are dating apps in any way good for Christians?

I downloaded Eharmony. I didn’t sign up since I’m still evaluating but does the minimum 6 month nearly $500 membership fee apply to women as well? I would say I have gotten several likes but only 1 or 2 I would pursue and of course both of them are foreign. It won’t let me search foreign without a membership, but if the matches are real (hence my sign up fee question) this Catholic Latina looks potentially very attractive. Of course her pics are blurred so I can’t tell. The American matches are as you expect, not that good :ROFLMAO:

I would try Facebook dating. It's the only dating app I could ever recommend to men, and I gotta say it's pretty good. For one thing, it's free. I know most dating apps have a free option, but FB doesn't have a pay option/membership, etc. And everyone sees everyone else's likes. You can filter by religion, age, all that. I can be on there for 24 hours and at least get a few reasonable matches. It's capped at 100 swipes per day but that's a ton, especially considering all the women are seeing your likes. (Granted they get a lot of likes). Within a week or two on that app, if a man doesn't have a number of potential dates, I don't know, maybe his standards are too high and expand the filters.
You also don't need a Facebook account. I mean you do but you can just create one and do nothing with it except the dating app.

Tried Eharmony. What an absolute nightmare.

It's a woke company, probably ran by liberal athiest jews. Christians have no business using it. Tons of old women, fat women, women with kids, and trannies. Loads of fake profiles, ghost profiles, and just people that never log in. Using my preferences I was only finding matches in other countries and their profiles seemed fake or just hadn't been logged in on in ages, and I narrowed down their entire pool to about 5 Christian women between 18-26! They weren't even Orthodox, just "Christian", which is the only option. It's super expensive and they won't allow you to cancel! Look up the scams for it. I'm stuck trying to get rid of this trash now. Beware.

Trying Upward again now. Somewhat recommended.

Pretty sure it's ran by protestants. I can tell by the themes for the "stickers" thing lol. I know one admin I saw on there is pentecostal. Honestly, it's ok. If you're Orthodox, there's barely any Orthodox. Like you're lucky if you find a few in your region. Catholics, still not many, but a little bit more say 5-10x more. If you're protestant, this app is an absolute gold mine. I think Upward is at least worth trying out for a week to see what's in your area. It's decent. I could see this working but I'm going to need God's help since I'm saying things like clot shot is a dealbreaker, wants to be a mother, and is Orthodox or open to converting. Good luck right! Lol.

This happens to even good sites, or ones that have the right things in mind, like orthodox & single. It's sort of hard to believe that it's allowed, but I imagine the overseer just got tired and fairly lazy, and just set it and forget it. I actually asked the guy about pricing a while back, given how difficult online is - wasn't trying to be ungrateful but saw how bad online usually is, and this was not much of an exception, sorry to say. As we know, it always turns out to be 30-45 year old women. I think if a 20s woman went on there it would be like real life, where thousands just spam and it overwhelms and makes her skeptical. So they'll last for like a couple days. Maybe that's actually good, I don't know.

The truth is, online could be worth it for leads but you need someone or something to legitimize you socially and truly verify things. In the west, this largely doesn't matter because any young woman already gets tons of attention if she even bothers, and most don't even bother truly pursuing anything until late 20s. Sad, but true.

That is hilarious 😆

Here's the (paraphrased) press release from the bumble CEO:

Here at bumble, we created a platform to empower women.

We are strong, independent, and feirce!

Also, Bumble recognises women's unique pain.

We know that typing the two letters of "h" and "i", hitting the copy button, and THEN pasting it into *literally* a million chats is a dreadful burden that understandably makes women want to give up dating altogether

We will now let women do even less work. We didn't think that was possible.

But we believe in women. And women deserve better.

We also need men to pay more. So we'll setup some cute prompts that all men can answer in about 3 different I mean fully original ways that we know women will love.

Are all these apps international at this point? They seem to be along the lines of "how far have they fallen", so any usage has to be in that mindset and obviously for short term, since that's what they are made for. Stay away, I presume.

Dating apps are a joke. They give women too much power. Most men are invisible on there and for those that aren’t, most women are just looking for hookups. Even the Christian ones, seem bad. A normal, old school, god fearing woman, isn’t going to want to put herself in an online environment where men just want to sleep with her. So most women who use apps are whores, or overly picky professional ones who are waiting for Tom Brady.

Imagine marrying or having a relationship with a woman who’s already gotten the attention of 1000s of men. She will never value you.

Yes, that's the reality, which is the real reason why you can't really date 30+ anymore, anyway. How many aren't on social media, since that's all women do these days (look at porn)?

What's more, any girl (and this number is probably now a 6) who is a 7 is going to get so much dikk thrown at her in real life, and so many options otherwise from social connections, since 7s are so rare, such a woman wouldn't need online. That's the problem with online, it's preselection for oldies or formerly decent to good looking women, which equates to essentially ruined women or serial daters. And they wonder why men don't take them seriously.

This should be proliferated on social media throughout the internet for every single man to read.

I've read through this thread a few times as I've recently stabilized my living situation and considering online dating. I've noticed that in my PUA past, my approach to these apps was to sort of "chameleon" my profile to appeal to as many girls as possible, whereas now I'm looking to screen out as much noise as I possibly can.

Could these apps still be worth the time and money if your profile was set up to screen unhealthy girls away? For example, putting a cross in your bio, adding a picture of you at a monastery, etc among your other hobbies.

Even the most religious or conservative women have lots of suitors, but you can certainly try. I tried this a few years ago, making it abundantly clear I was religious. The matches were not that great, and then there was the added issue of views and denominations. I matched with lots of Protestant liberal women, who wanted to debate me on my beliefs, even going so far as to send me sermons from their pastors. Note I put myself as a Catholic on there with ultra conservative views.

I even had one woman totally lie to me before our first date. She claimed her marriage was annulled, and then 2 hours into the date, stated it wasn’t really annulled and she was still with the guy.

I hate to sound negative, but there is a massive difference in the pool of women who use dating apps and social media vs. those who either highly restrict their use or don’t use them altogether. Something about the constant attention ruins women for life.

Men are at a disadvantage when they can only gage their interest in a woman based on her appearance alone. The designers of dating apps know this and that's how they make money. Guys who watch porn and masturbate are easy prey for corporations who want them to spend money trying to match with women with provocative profiles.

The more a women reveals her true self to a man the more even the playing field becomes.

Men are at a disadvantage in general because of population issues/boom (as I've discussed) and because they've been thrown under the bus by the "leaders" in the "developed world" for years, who have selfishly promoted feminism as a way to increase promiscuity and get greater taxes, while destabilizing family and causing more reliance on the .gov.

Dating apps are just a manifestation of the tech world gone wrong, one that hurts women far more, though they feel short term more "empowered" or think that short term attention is meaningful. The problem is they "find out" later when the devil laughs at them, as they are older and men are even more indifferent about them at that point. If they do manage to get simp attention, the guy isn't desired or attractive to them, leading to more relationship or family instability due to all the outs there are (with divorce, payments and child custody).

Honestly, I have a great life in terms of convenience and relative ease, but it came at a price. Family and/or sex is the only thing that makes life frustrating, since it should be easy, but women don't care to be realistic, because quite frankly (in their view, the only thing that matters sadly) they don't have to be - for now. That doesn't bode well for a 20 year run of men and women.

I think the main point is just to use the app or apps to meet a woman and then quickly take her off the app and on to WhatsApp. Hey if I can find a devout youngish (for me) Latin American virgin so can any of you. I don't have wealth, great height or stunning looks and I was able to meet one. And believe me she has many similar friends so there are more where she came from :ROFLMAO:.

Ultimately God is your matchmaker.

If you go on a dating site and openly declare your Christianity, just be prepared that you'll get loads of notifications that you have likes and messages, and when you check them you'll be like "oh... shes African"
I think the amount of interest you get from them depends on how "alpha" you look and status: more alpha/more status will keep them at bay because I think they probably know their own limitations with regards to upward mobility and escaping the hood/township.

Over the course of two weeks, I got interest from an African woman out of about six others who were very average and well over 40 as I'm late forties. I had good pics and a well-written profile and the ones I should have been able to get some interactions with (based on real life experience) showed zero interest, despite these 30 something white women declaring their love for the Lord, favourite verses, church activity etc, and all the other good things women promote about themselves.......I couldn't help but think that they're looking for some guy with the salt n pepper hair and six figure income to come along and buy them the life they richly deserve. Because you know you're worth it.
