One of the absolute weirdest sitcoms from the 80s where a 10 year old girl is actually a robot.
It ran for 4 seasons and had 96 episodes.
Robot is "activated" at minute 4:50 into the video.

I was a big Simple Minds fan bitd, starting with New Gold Dream and working my way backwards. Kind of lost interest after they got big with Breakfast Club soundtrack song.

I always particularly liked the instrumental track they would include on each album, real gems that let the imagination go:

I've always loved Simple Minds too, having heard their early stuff like Promised You A Miracle and then of course Don't You Forget About Me which broke them in the States. However, I just recently heard Belfast Child for the first time, a song that went to #1 in the UK but didn't even chart here in the US...probably due to the fact that it deals with UK politics. This is a great song and it's kind of nice to just discover this as it seems just as relevant now but in a different way if you apply the lyrics not to The Troubles, but to the problems from unwanted invaders causing problems in Ireland.
