That was horrible! A schmaltzy TV cover of the actual song.

Also, the recording had static in it. I remember how TV had snow in the picture as often as not all the way until HD came along, but I had forgotten the hassle of static in the sound much of the time.

This was 8 years ago but daaamn... Not sure if most people realize what kind of craftsmanship it takes for a 70 year old man to pull this off single handedly. Michael McDonald released this song in 1978. It's got some kind of magic that never gets old...
