No, this isn't new, I have always put having children on the back burner. I am not going to have them if I am forced to go into a gray office and stare at a blue screen, hating my life, for the next 25 years. If I can find my way out of this rut and afford to have children, then I plan to have them.

You do realize you've never once said it was on the "back burner" for years you've been saying it's impossible to afford so you won't do it.

I already explained that. I have no desire to be a slave in the USA and work 40 to 50 hours a week for 40 to 50 years. I have done it 25 years and I am about done, thanks to not being married. It is my path and I am happy I followed it.

Plus, I honestly don't think I would want to raise kids in the USA, this capitalist system is so evil.

Yes, I wouldn't want to raise kids in the USA, that is correct. That doesn't mean I don't have it on the back burner. If a few things I am trying to do work out correctly, I will leave the USA and have children. If not, I will just stay in the USA and not have kids.
