Weird Things You've Noticed Recently

Random weird thing I have noticed recently. Fast food is getting OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. Like more expensive than regular sit-down food. For example, my wife and I got 2 chicken sandwiches and a milkshake the other night, and it was $49 freaking dollars!? How is that even possible.

The only explanation I have is supply and demand. The normie American populace is now so lazy, so fat, and so depressed that the demand for fast food is going through the roof. Most Americans can't even cook scrambled eggs. They are flocking to fast food restaurants to satiate their fast food appetites and thus, the market is adjusting accordingly. Like these wildly overpriced fast food places are somehow still in business, which means somebody is buying their $47 chicken sandwiches. Who could those consumers be? My best guess is college educated white girls (the ones who all voted for Kamala), incel dudes, the swarms of fat and stupid consoooooomer Americans, and welfare state beneficiaries. The last category of people view expensive fast food as a sign of wealth or something, lmao. Like look at me, I paid $24 for a bigmac while wearing designer clothing. It's like gheto fine dining or something.

McDonalds, 5 Guys, and Wendy's are all the same. No longer cheap, not even affordable anymore, but downright expensive. More expensive than cooking at home. I thought economies of scale were supposed to make this junk food cheaper for those of us who needed a quick bite to eat while on the road? Not anymore, my friends.

I only go to McDonald's or Little Caesar's for my fast-food options. The McDonald's app typically has deals you otherwise will never get (for example, my wife and I got lunch while out yesterday and we spent roughly $4 for a double-cheeseburger and 2 McDoubles; the double was a .50c deal and the McDoubles were buy 1 get 1 for 1.00). I even got a quarter pound cheeseburger for free from McDonalds because you build up points over time; you can't get that option by buying drive-thru or sit-down since the store won't track your orders for you. On the Little Caesar's app I occasionally get deals for a 6.99 two-topping pizza, but I typically buy their 10 dollar stuffed crust pizza (4100 calories) which can feed my whole family. Everything else that's out there I ignore. Initially I didn't want to download apps and be forced to share data but it's the best way to eat out on a budget.

I eat at McDonlads maybe once every couple weeks. Then it’s just 1 or 2 basic cheeseburgers only. I always keep water in my car so don’t waste money on high fructose poison drinks. I’m cheap and always looking for a deal, but refuse to do fast food apps. Last thing I want is a marketing ploy that collect data on me while enticing me to eat poison food more frequently. No thanks.

I am saving a lot of money making steak at home instead of eating out at these supposedly cheap fast food places. Wild times we live in. All the more reason to eat healthier and better food.

Funny about steaks, Sam's club (I know don't get me started) has two tiers of filet mignon. One is $23 a lb the other is $18 a lb, I'll spend extra on food I've always said the reason I work and make money is for food so that's the last thing I'm cheap about but the more expensive one is more expensive because it has better "marbling". The thing is I hate fat on my steak, I prefer the less "marbling". I was with my little sis I was buying stuff for me and my parents house so I bought a pack of both, she vehemently argued the more marbled filet would be better but after cooking them both on the flat grill at my parents even she agreed it wasn't and it was very distinguishable.

Not related just saying, weird thing I noticed seems the "marbling" at Sam's club is just for looks.

Not sure which thread this is most appropriate in so I am posting it here.

Has anyone else noticed a ramp up in the outright pornographic advertisements being shown everywhere? I have seen a large number of ads lately of women wearing basically nothing in very suggestive poses. Most of these seem to be for clothing brands.

In one instance, I was looking at a list of gift ideas for my wife for Christmas and one of the items on the list was a pair of athletic shorts. The woman that was modeling the shorts was wearing nothing except for the shorts and covering her bare chest with her arms! In a different ad for a pair of leggings, the woman modeling the leggings was bent completely over a table.

Maybe I never noticed how bad it was before but it seems like it has gotten even worse lately.

Do you have a link ?
Asking for a friend....😏

Wasn't sure where to ask about this but is there a thread about the NJ drone phenomenon thats been going on the past couple of weeks? Surprised no one is talking about it here - personally I think it's probably just a psyop though.
Twitter was completely wound up about it Wednesday night, but already last night the buzz had died off. News cycles are so short now. I think the budget battle was dominating people's attention.

Take off your mask and put on your tinfoil hat, Batman.
